One thing that will be interesting is to see what happens to Kato's assistant coaches. Blue and I can't recall the other. Blue's contract expired with Juttings next year and the other coaches was this summer. In watching the Press conference I think it was the ad who said whoever the coach is I hope that he keeps the two assistants. Will that be apart of any contract? Perhaps not but could get interesting. From what I understand both are solid coaches.

I too agree and I am perhaps guilty of being harsh on Lee which looking back on it was probably in poor taste. I do agree that he certainly was not the worse defenseman we have seen and actually did a pretty good job. Was it 1st round? That I suppose is debatable. I do agree with geaux_sioux about the heart. I don't care if you are a walkon or a 1st rounder if you come to UND you better have heart, enough said. I am not sure if the Sioux coaches were looking or offered Jon Lee a scholly but I think the way it turned out we were probably better off without him.

The last 10 years BC has done a fantastic job in the tournament. They are a good team but lets not forget last year they got smoked by CC when they had to leave their beloved Worcester Regional. They are a good team with a great coach but parity will find its way to smack them in the face sooner or later.

DiPuma is taking classes but not sure on his status with the team.

I believe he was offered a contract by Montreal but decided against signing but I am not privey to the details of that offer. Could it have been more or less than what he is currently being offered. Yes. I guess only Dell knows that.

I guess my thoughts for today are we will probably hear something on Dell and perhaps Kristo today. Yesterday UNDSID said he expects to hear a few more things from a couple more Sioux players after Brock signed but the end of the day passed and UNDSID said no more news for today. I expect to hear something on someone today.

He is more than likely gone. Last week I said Kristo was the only one who I thought was leaving early then Brock leaves and now word of Dell and I am sure Kristo is not far behind. I am happy for these guys but hope they don't think the grass is always greener on the otherside. Sometimes these things don't work out like we hope and want them to. Brock would have had a monster year if he had stayed and been healthy and would have probably been top 3 in scoring in the nation if not number 1. In my opinion he needed to stay one more year to add the muscle to that skill. Anyways good luck Brock.

Well this is the Final Four week and I just thought I would add my predictions and see if anyone else would perhaps guess who they think will come away Champion this weekend. BC v UM I am going with BC on this one. They know how to get it done when they get to this point. Union v Ferris I am going with Union in a very close game. Perhaps OT Championship Game BC v Union As much as I hate it, BC will be champ once again but would welcome anyone other than Minnesota to win it.

That is to bad about Troy Juting. I thought he was one of those characters of hockey. I suppose they needed a change but best of luck to you Troy.

It is a great one as anything talking about that great achievement by the boys is going to be good. I like "Through These Doors" I just wish it was longer than 10-15 minutes. I tend to keep saying "I want more" but I also understand the time commitment. It would be awesome if this became a half hour show.

Nice to have fellow college hockey fans stop by and especially new conference mates. Good luck to your team and ours this weekend. I am sure it will set the stage for some good battles in the future. We don't have much in these parts but good, honest people and we love our Sioux Hockey and we travel to the dark side of the moon for them.

This will be the first time in about 5yrs that I won't be able to make it down to the final five. The inlaws are coming this weekend and couldn't change their travel plans so we are stuck. I hope that those sioux fans that are going will have a great time and witness the 3peat.

I agree that would be awesome and I like your thinking but highly unlikely. I remember two years back when Chay had his concussion I thought for sure he would play in the final five but he did not and I am glad he did not for a couple reasons. 1. not fully recovered 2. would have lost his medical waiver for the next year.

It would be nice to get Seth Jones and I hope that we do. If not I wish him well and thank him for at least considering our fine school.
