Do any of the new guys have the potential to be better than Brekke?

One thing to keep in mind is Traylor only played one game while Brekke was out, so I think Brekke was replaced by Archer? If Brekke doesn't play this year, that leaves us with Traylor, Salmonson, and Calcaterra to replace him... all I'm saying is that doesn't suck. Brekke blocked all of 3 shots last year and had a FG% of 49.4%.

Is there really even that much drop off after Brekke? Chad Calcaterra was a highly touted recruit and had offers from Minnesota, Auburn, Green Bay, Northern Iowa, etc... I don't feel like Brekke has above average scoring touch, either.

Sacramento just announced plans for a new 6,000 seat arena. Construction is planned to begin in 2014. Now that Sac and Portland are getting new facilities, the two worst venues in the Big Sky will be replaced. Great news!

Maybe... They're playing at the Betty because the Bison arn't a rival and not enough people would go to a game at the Ralph to make playing there worth it.

I like the % of ticket revenue idea that has been kicked around. Ticket prices can go up once the building sells out so there would still be incentive for improving performance. aloooooooooooooong way down the road from now, of course.

What about the Grambling coach that got fired? I think he won a bunch of league championships there before their funding got cut? Guessing it would be a no go because of the negative conotation from a connection with Grambling and because he's a Southern guy... just a thought though.
