Sorry to hear that Iceberg. Blue blotches bad. Green Blotches I guess we could have lived with
-
I was in such a rush to post the details I posted twice
-
No charge for Sioux fans 651-768-9150 But remember I don't have that receiver.
-
YEEEECH! Depends on the LNB. remember a Standard LNB the L.O. (LND Freq.) is 10750 a universal LNB the L.O. should be 9750-10600 Since I don't know what LNB type you have (Read what it says on the LNB to be sure) the CBS feeds should be at Freq. 11711 Pol. V SR. 14312 http://www.lyngsat.com/galaxy26.html

Sometimes the footprint may not cover all areas, but that does not seem to be the issue as I am getting signal Quality of 73% (A wee bit less than usual (I also was getting 76% when the broadcast started) ) There may be a similar transponder in use on an adjacent satellite pulling the signal. I do not suggest moving the dish, but if you do then mark the pole with a pen so you can get back to this position. I would not loosen the dish but from behind pull GENTLY on each side of the dish while watching the signal quality of thei transponder, do the same at the top and bottom of dish. Try manually entering the transponder, try SR 4874 - 4880 again while watching Signal Quality.

YES same satellite! Try another Auto scan!

I just posted above...... I think we posted at the same time Same place as the last "daytime" game......... 93

Yes, I also blind scanned it in. Got a few calls from fans who are using slightly older receivers/LNB's I noticed If I dropped the SR I would instantly loose the picture, but I could go all the way up to 4878 without loosing it, so we tried aaiming right in the middle and that did the trick. When LNB's get old their L.O. (LNB Freq.) drifts slightly. Not a problem when you have a receiver with Blind scan like the one you and I use. TRAXIS DBS 3500

I am getting reports that some fans are having to use a SR of 4875
-
I use my Traxis 3500 as the MASTER and to motor my dish, you will notice on the back of the Traxis there is an output called IF OUT or LNB OUT I run a short RG6 coax from there to the (SLAVE) Match Box Pro USB receiver. These USB receivers have to really be used along with a regular receiver (IMHO) 1. Trying to point a satellite dish with a USB receiver is VERY VERY VERY hard, because there is such a BIG delay between you pointing the dish and a signal showing up on the screen!!! 2. USB receivers do not have BLIND SCAN a must for this hobby (IMO) But then recording to Hard Drive is a BREEZE! Not only that the match Box Pro will decode HD signals, and AC3 digital audio. Not to mention many sports feeds these days use 4:2:2 format (Traxis users may have come across these channels, thay show up as black screen with perfect audio)
-
No problem, just as long as everyone can get to see it I use the Match Box Pro USB satellite receiver to record directly to HD, you still need a satellite dish and LNB of course but then it works like a mini DVR I don't use it much for recording, I am a LIVE TV person, if it aint live it's not worth watching (IMO)

UNREAL! When I posted the below version it did not have any audio, now it does!!!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPBmVaubUmM This is the best version!
-
Thanks I feel I already am! The video is up on youtube now, sorry about the quality I will also link to the good version I have (With no audio) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwJ8-V_KzLg

I have the interview here but I am reluctant to post it on YouTube now. I did'nt even think of the "permission" thing I have two copies, one I made direct to my hard drive using the Match Box USB satellite receiver. But I think I pressed the mute button during it so no audio. I also have a copy I recorded with my video camera (With audio) If I get permission I will post on YouTube Great game and great interview. But remember it's only half time! Same again tonight! Go SIOUX! Go NICK!
-
Just seen it (And recorded it) Man it's great to see both Nick and lefty looking so well! COOL!
-
What a great friend and ambassador the Sioux have in Lefty! (I know he is an ex-player) Go Lefty
-
I did suggest they may need a much larger fridge now that they will have all sorts of new Sioux friends showing up on home games night to watch the games on satellite But in all honestly I think our continued thoughts, prayers words of support are going a long way. I am so proud to be a Sioux fan! Go Nick! Glad to hear you are doing well!
-
That goal was the BEST I have ever seen in hockey, man it does not get any better than that! Go Sioux!

Nick's satellite system has been installed! Now it's all up to the MIGHTY Sioux to give us a sweep tonight! Thanks again to ALL Sioux fans as they are the real hero's here, this must go down as one of my best days in satellite. I wish I could install for Sioux fans everyday! I did warn Nick however not to touch the dish as he may be electrocuted, not to stand under the dish in case it falls and generally to keep away from it as the Rain Shield coating may be TOXIC And what a nice family he has, I felt kind of bad lifting some ornaments and valuables that were just lying around this time? To be serious for a moment Nick's a wee fighter and he is going to be kicking some serious butt here, you guys are amazing, the support shown here by the Sioux community would bring a tear to a glass eye GO NICK GO SIOUX! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fgv_t3M_P4g

It's the LEAST I can do for the Sioux fans who have taken a wee guy from the east end of Glasgow under their wing. And for Nick himself. I know watching the Sioux will lift his spirts high as it does for me. The Sioux family are like a rock at times like these, I am proud to call myself a fan. GO SIOUX!
