  1. Its funny looking at all the people that are potential uncommitted people to watch and everyone has at least 1 to 5 to watch.... Then I look at my old high school and see nobody... that's section 3A for ya
  2. It would throw Montana back into the discussion for Big Sky championship if he gets his clearance. Hopefully he doesn't get the "Few Good Men" treatment, or else eGriz might go on full tilt, but I doubt that happens.
  3. Was at the game, and I did see the 2 of them walk into the game and watch the team (where they sat I had no idea). Perhaps they showed up to support their teammates. Honestly, those were the last 2 I expected to walk into the Betty on Saturday. Just was a lost year for a lot of reasons -Wall wasn't herself all year due to her mysterious leg injury -2 guards leaving the program to go elsewhere -Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers -lot of poor shooting nights -terrible refs (just kidding, I just wanted to throw Big Sky officiating under the bus 1 time) I expect improvement next year and not ready to give up on Brew just yet. Another year of this and I might think otherwise. With Wall 100% and Evers making more improvements in her game, we will have 2 awesome posts to work with. I also expect that Mia and Josie to step up and improve their game too, they will be very solid players and we saw some good flashes from both of them this year. Also hoping that this Dyer girl is the real deal when she starts play in 2014.
  4. Don't know if this was mentioned, but congrats to coach Jones on getting to 100 career victories at UND.
  5. If there is one thing that I have taken from all this conference shifting is to expect the unexpected... If you told me last month that UMKC was heading to the WAC I would have laughed in your face. These next few weeks are going to be interesting
  6. Not yet, SUU is still at 8-9 and can win out and jump us for the 3 seed due to head to head (they would be 2-0 against us). However, we for sure have a top 4 seed lock up as of tonight.
  7. UND heads up to take on the Eagles on Saturday in the last road trip of the year for the boys. A lot of things are up for grabs for UND in this game Officially clinch a Big Sky tournament bid with a Win or a Sac State loss to ID ST Can clinch the 3rd seed in the tournament with a Win and a NAU loss to Weber and a SUU loss to Montana (Since we have the head to head tiebreak over MSU, it doesn't matter if they tie us for 3rd) A winning record on the road in conference play (Yes I said it, a winning record at 6-4) EWU will be playing desperate like Portland St did on Thursday to keep their slim hopes of the making the postseason alive. If we can play the same like we did against PSU, especially in the 2nd half, we can win this game. Other games: Weber (15-2) @ NAU (8-9) ID ST (4-13) @ SAC ST (7-10) UNC (8-10) @ PSU (5-12) MONT (15-1) @ MSU (8-9) Off: SUU (8-9) P.S: NO, the court is not all red
  8. ID ST 47 NAU 47 11:33 2ND UNC 37 EWU 36 HALF SUU 32 MSU 27 HALF
  9. Gotta start somewhere I guess. Huge to have Brekke back because he will be needed for the bigger bodies that PSU and EWU will throw at us. Hopefully we can get him 3 good games before we head to the tourney. Did Schuler travel with the team or stay back in GF?
  10. Im sorry, but I have a MAJOR problem with this if that is the case. I have no issue with them transferring, sometimes it doesn't work out I understand that. What I take serious offense to is that they are not even going to play out the last 2 games of the season? Seriously? You can't for the sake of your team and your teammates you can't play 2 more games and if you make it to the Big Sky tourney a couple more? Honestly, other than the defense they brought, it wasn't a very big loss other than the fact that it really hurts our depth.
  11. http://www.undsports...TCLID=206531361 So does this mean they won't play the last 2 games for UND?
  12. UND heads out on their last regular season road swing of the year, making its first stop out to Portland State to take on the Vikings. The first meeting was a very well played ball game between the two squads and both teams shot very well from the field. A perfect effort at the line for UND proved to be a big difference maker. While Portland sits at 5-11, they do a very good job when they play at home. All 5 conferences wins were on the home court. If the Vikings have any hope to get back into the fight for playoff position, then a sweep is a must. UND holds down the 3rd seed by a half a game over SUU. To some surprise, UND has done alright on the road, holding a 4-4 record in Big Sky play (compare to the rest of the conference that is up near the top). If they are going to get 2 big road wins and could clinch the 3rd seed with that result, they will need to play very well. Hopefully we are finally at full health for this one Other games MSU (7-9) @ SUU (8-8) UNC (7-10) @ EWU (6-10) Weber (14-2) @ Sac St (7-9) ID ST (4-12) @ NAU (7-9) Off: Montana (15-1)
  13. Phil Jackson is going to have the basketball court named after him!
  14. I think they do reseed after the first round to ensure that the #1 seed would play the lowest.
  15. # 1 Montana BYE #4 SUU #5 MSU #3 UND #6 Sac State #2 Weber #7 UNC
  16. Looking out on eGriz, they said Ward would be out 2-4 weeks. That would put his chances of playing the rest of the year and in the Big Sky tourney into question. I think that loss would hurt worse than Cherry's because they have guards that can help take some of the load for Cherry, but who can replace Ward? Montana's frontline is very very thin. Its a gamechanger for sure, Montana needs to win to keep that #1 seed, they cannot afford to play 3 games in 3 days. Right now that Weber/Montana final might not be so automatic as it once was. A team like a MSU, SUU and even us could get to the final.
  17. Anderson is starting to get hot, 3 straight 3's! UND 33 UNO 30
  18. Starting to heat up now tied at 30!
  19. Note for everyone: Women's game next Saturday is moved to 12:00 PM against Eastern Washington to commedate for the WCHA 1st round playoffs
  20. Our bracketbuster game has a little old school flar as UND takes the trek down I-29 to take on Omaha. UNO is making the very long transition to D-1 as members of the Summit. Short and sweet, UND needs to come out and assert their will and flatten these guys. Lets do something rare and have a road winning streak before 2 big ones at PSU/EWU. Most important... NO BODY ELSE GET HURT! We might have a full deck next Thursday
  21. Benton to the line for 2 misses the first makes the 2nd Wow.... very close to tying that one UND 64 UNC 62 Final
