  1. Benton heading to the line, nice pass by Webb makes 1 of 2 UND 2 SUU 2
  2. Wilmer will go to the line with 17:39 to go Huff, Webb, and Benton ready to go in Wilmer makes 1 of 2 UND 1 SUU 0
  3. We started Anderson and the 4 seniors No score after the 1st minute
  4. BU takes down Providence 4-0 in Hockey East Semis, Cornell tied with St. Lawrence 2-2 in the 3rd
  5. Wondered about that this week, would they really take us if we somehow got to 17-16 and got into the Big Sky title game? Would be nice to get into some post-season and make a little run. As for tomorrow, I expect 1 of the seniors to play a great game and Huff goes off again on SUU. UND decides not to mess around and wins by 15. The other games Sac State @ MSU NAU @ MONT EWU @ WEBER PSU @ ISU I think MSU, MONT, WEBER and ISU get wins. Setting up this Big Sky bracket next week #1 Montana BYE #4 Montana State #5 UNC #3 North Dakota #6 SUU #2 Weber #7 NAU
  6. UND will be honoring their 4 senior players (Wilmer, Archer, Allard, Stockdale) on Saturday as they take on SUU. While UND cannot improve on their position in the tournament, they can get to 12 wins, get a winning record at home in conference, and get to .500 overall. SUU is coming in desperate for a win. After sitting in conference 8-5, they have lost 6 in a row and a loss against UND could put them out of the tournament. This could also be a quarterfinal matchup as well next week in the Big Sky. Lets take care of business and end the regular season on a high note.
  7. Good job girls in making it to the finals! Now BC, BU, and Cornell need to win tomorrow to knock out any of the riff raff
  8. Winner! Kangas is the correct answer to my 1st question. His record was 50 shots
  9. Sorry, its not Gorg. Its a more recent record within 10 years (the old record was set in 2005), but you are on track with the Gopher referrence
  10. We had two state tournament records broken today in an earlier game between Duluth Marshall and Marshall. Duluth Marshall beat Marshall 4-1 in the consolation bracket game, but Junior Mason Campion of MHS stopped 58 of 62 shots. He set a record in most regulation saves (58) and most saves in a period (28 in 2nd), he fell 7 shots short of tying the most stops in a game state record. Although they didn't get a win in their first appearance, they didn't get their butts kicked like usual teams that come out of 3A. Any one want to take a guess who held the old record for regulation saves in a game? I'll give you a hint, he reallly loves North Dakota Second question, who hold the record for stop in a state tournament game?
  11. I don't even think Marcos has a deep dish option. The only thing I can think of is the Green Mill that has deep dish pizza
  12. To whoever update the Wiki for basketball recruits: The Sobaski kid from Prior Lake committed to NDSU today http://www.mysummitleague.com/report-jon-sobaski-verbally-commits-to-north-dakota-state/
  13. So here is a couple question for everyone, when it comes to the postseason accolades: 1) Do you think Troy Huff has done enough to warrant a 1st team All-Big Sky selection? 2) Does Aaron Anderson find a way to get into 2nd team All-Big Sky?
  14. MONT 67 SUU 67 12.0 left SUU ball EDIT: SUU TO Mont ball with 9.0 seconds to go
  15. SUU 65 MONT 62 1:41 2nd Weber fans are starting to get excited right now
  16. MONT 51 SUU 49 10:52 2nd Heuir has 29, the Aussie is literally carrying the team on his back right now
  17. Half time Mont 37 SUU 32 Coleman pacing Montana with 14, Heuir has 18 for SUU.
  18. See I don't know how that is, the only reason we are tied with them and Northeastern is that while we have won the comparison against Wisconsin (4-3, despite losing head to head 3-1), we don't have the comparison against Northeastern. A win agains Wisconsin and a NE loss to BC flips that to us and breaks the tie.
  19. Because of his performance last weekend, Troy Huff was honored as Big Sky Player of the Week! Congrats once again Troy, that's his 3rd time this year. http://www.bigskyconf.com/news/2013/3/4/MBB_0304135851.aspx
  20. This one will come down to I believe the goalies. We know what Rigsby can do for the Badgers, but it will be up to the freshman Amsley-Benzie to bring her A game for this one. Last time she faced the Badgers she turned 2 very good performances. We will need something very similar on Saturday. She has played extremely well (outside of Friday Night vs BSU) to finish the year. I say the Lammys are on a mission (not from god ) and will lead them to a 4-2 Win on Saturday to get them into the finals and get that 8th spot in the NCAAs. The 3 other games of interest Hockey East Semis Providence vs BU Northeastern vs BC ECAC Semis Cornell vs St.Lawrence Simply put a win by us plus BC,BU and Cornell wins gets us in no matter what we do against the Gophs.
