  1. Has offers from Coastal Carolina, UL-Monroe, Campbell, Charleston Southern and Tennessee Tech. A lot of Southern Schools, closer to his hometown.
  2. Bison and Yotes getting bit by the Portal today.
  3. He and Omot are going to be fun to watch next year.
  4. Way to bury the lead, lol. Can tell that many aren't happy about Cousins, but here is my take: 2022 draft QB class is not that great, other options aren't available and no one was going to trade for him. However, can't give him the long term extension either. Thus a 1 year extension to clear cap space. Enough to give the new braintrust to see what they have and then can go from there next year with a better QB draft class if it all falls apart.
  5. Usually they post their stuff on Youtube later on (Youtube Mankato East Activities), don't know if they will have a feed since the finals are at MSU. Was hoping for the triology against the cross town rivals, but have to settle for New Ulm for the title tilt. He also had 9 rebounds and 4 blocks last right to go with his 29 points.
  6. Omot had 29 points tonight to back up a 31 point night on Tuesday. Plays on Thursday in the section finals
  7. Anyone who wants to watch Omot tonight can do so here:
  8. If D2 programs want to make the transition to D1, making that process more difficult. Didn't mention anything about players
  9. Think the only reason why he started was that JMUs 2nd best guard was out with an injury.
  10. Not necssarily. There have been recent examples of UND turning it around after one awful season. Have 3 scholarships to play with. Eaglestaff and Omot are coming in. Get Levias and Nero healthy, Sueker hopefully coming back and healthy. Development from Grant, T, Mathews, and Norman will be important.
  11. Can't grab the tweet on here, but it sounding like the process for D2s wanting to move up is about to become more difficult.
  12. Outside of Rebraca, there wasn't a whole lot of success for those players who left to other D1 teams.
  13. Had two other D1 offers from SIU-E and IUPUI. Nothing from Bruns yet. I didn't check on McGrath
  14. McGrath: I wonder if he took a look at the situation (Mathews, T, a potentially returning Sueker) and now Omot and realized that the minutes weren't going to be there and decided on another place.
  15. So the co-op rules (I believe): they count 100% enrollment of the largest school in the co-op and then 50% for the other schools (don't know how free/reduced lunch plays into those numbers). Co-ops can petition to opt down a class. A few years back 2 schools in Southern Minnesota had enough students in their co-ops to acually get bumped up to class AA. This would have been a major detriment to both programs, so they had to do some manuvering (cut some schools out of the co-op where they weren't getting kids from) in order to squeak back down to class A.
  16. I don't think G would ever come back here. Unless he can defend at the D1 level, he is perfect at the D2 level. Scoring was never the issue with G.
  17. Todd Lee out at USD. BIg shocker down in Verm.
  18. Sorry, should have clarify that Howard went to a NAIA school after UND.
  19. I think the formula that the MSHSL uses for co-op for hockey is wonky enough to keep Minneapolis in class A. Wish I remembered what it was, but it was pretty convoluted.
  20. Sueker came from a D2 and he turned out alright, when he was healthy. Howard went to an NAIA school. He mentioned about not getting as many minutes as he though he would. Ironically, the same day he left the team, Sueker got injured. (The bolded is a quote from Raulston during the pre-game when UND played Eastern Washington). So had he stayed... he would have gotten more minutes.
  21. Sounds like UND has offered the guard that transferred out of U Mary.
  22. I wouldn't say it was a mistake. 2 3rd round picks for a guy who is an upgrade with what they currently have? Worth the risk. It doesn't take a whole lot to top Heninke. If it doesn't work out, then they draft their QB next year with little cost. If it does work out, Washington is a playoff team (It is the NFC East) It is really showing that there isn't a whole lot of faith in this current QB draft class (CC to Minnesota, say no to drafting a QB this year... please!).
  23. The Summit has ZERO reason to move it from Sioux Falls, and they shouldn't. They do an excellent job in making it a very big deal.
  24. He might be getting the Milwaukee job.
