  1. Yes. They took a massive jump from last year to this year. With that said, the last two weeks have been dissapointing. They could have beaten Western at home and NDSU in Fargo. The good news it that help is coming next year that will address some of the current deficiencies.
  2. The biggest issue right now: https://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/north-dakota Just look at all of that gray that left. Your Upperclassmen were basically: Panoam (JUCO transfer that didn't get a lot of minutes until midway last year), Igbanugo (walk-on but found himself in the rotation more when Sather got here), Sueker (D2 transfer: solid, but got hurt this year), Danielson (HS Recruit, who was a reserve for his 2.5 years before taking to the starting lineup out of necessity), and Nero (transfer from Weber State: solid, but got hurt this year). This isn't a knock against these guys in no way shape or form, they went out and played their hardest and gave it their all. I'd argue Sather has gotten the most out of Panoam, Igbanugo, and now Danielson.
  3. I'm not ready to go that far. This has the feeling to me to what happened to the women last year where everything went wrong, with the addition of the poor decision by some of the players who transferred out. This is a big offseason and season coming up. UND cannot afford to have another year like this. However, I feel that they won't and will bounce back strong next year.
  4. Before we get too far into the abyss, thanks everyone for following through another year of basketball. As usual, hope to do better next season.
  5. I believe they will be a big part of the puzzle. Both with help from the shooting and athleticism part.
  6. Well the first question is on Igbanugo and Sueker. Will they be coming back? Those decision could open up spots. We all know that there probably will be some changes, how many players move on and who?
  7. He just has to improve it enough for teams to respect it. I believe that he can do that at the very least. He needs to work on his offense all offseason, if there was someone that needed to take 10,000 shots a day. He would be it.
  8. Look. This year sucked. There isn't any sugar-coating it. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. So there is only one thing left to do. Time to turn the page to Year 4 of the Sather Era. Many questions to be answered about next year. Most important questions that needs to be answered right now: Will Ethan Igbanugo and Mitchell Sueker be using their COVID years? How much will the roster turnover?
  9. The season is over.... It can only go up from here. The 22-23 thread will be up later today/tomorrow.
  10. They might be one and done in Sioux Falls. They have just run out of gas.
  11. In my heart of heart, I hope that this is just like the women last year. They use next year as a major bounce back.
  12. Would have to double check his HS numbers but thought he was a decent 3 point shooter coming in. Spend the whole offseason working on his offense.
  13. UND needs to find a way to shoot around 50% in the 2nd half. If they can do that, they can win this game. Can't blow layups, hit the open 3, and make your free throws. Tighening up the D a little bit.
  14. Need to hit some shots. This game can be had.
