  1. Since there are 4 great teams that will be playing in the NCHC tourney could a third place game help a team in the pairwise rankings by winning?
  2. Because Rodent fans can not tell the difference between their arse and their mouths. Simply because the same thing comes out of both.
  3. Why bother when two posters can explain it so well? Thanks UND99 and siouxforce19 for the explanation.
  4. I have heard that Red Robin makes great burgers.
  5. Why not make it simple and meet both Friday and Saturday? That way maybe people who can not make it one day can make it the other. Since you need to eat and it sounds like a good place why not eat there twice? Just a thought.
  6. Red Robin is a chain also.
  7. You are right. They were next to the car wash and the Jewish cemetery and Ernie still owned it. I can't remember if they opened after the flood or not.
  8. Where was that in his post?
  9. All the UMN is to the Big 10 is a record padder. Even the other crappy Big 10 teams count on playing MN to get their only league wins. If hockey is so BIG in Minnesota then why are there always so many empty seats in the Mariucci week in and week out?
  10. Never said otherwise did I?
  11. Easily over 10 years ago. The original Fat Alberts was closed before Ernie sold the name. The reason I know this is because Ernie told me this at my house. Is your brother ever going to get a real oven?
  12. According to the website for the tourney they are reseeded.
  13. Yeah they did have their own. I found that last year but can't remember where now. Found it. Google is your friend MafiaMan. http://www.hmpioneers.net/hockey/playoff.htm
  14. They still are not the same as the old Fat Alberts. Ernie only sold the name and nothing else.
  15. Thank you. Do you know what it has been in the past?
  16. Up until 1974-75. My bad I was thinking it was 76. http://www.vintageminnesotahockey.com/MNHSlHockey.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_school_boys_ice_hockey_in_Minnesota I found this when I was looking for the breakdown on past champions.
  17. It is just summer sausage. It is not dried and cured. The sticks are the same in the store as sold elsewhere. As for salami I prefer what comes out of Toronto. Molinari is good but not as good as what the Italians in Toronto make.
  18. Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky,1 Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes all the same. There's a green one and a pink one And a blue one and a yellow one, And they're all made out of ticky tacky And they all look just the same.
  19. I think it is high time that the private schools go back to having their own tournament period. That is until they play by the same rules as the rest.
  20. Until 1976 the private schools had their own tourney. Since 2000 the private school have won 15 championships and the public schools have won 11. Private schools should not be playing with the public schools. This is not just In Minnesota. This winter all most all of the basketball championships, boys and girls, were private schools in Arizona.
  21. They were when Ernie owned it. They are not the same any longer.
  22. You are expecting math skills from someone that can not spell since?
  23. Thanks once more! I really wanted to see a team come back like that. If I am not mistaken are not May/Port and Langdon rivals somewhat in sports? Langdon is an interesting little town. There are a lot of nice old houses that have been restored very nicely. Their bakery is really good also.
  24. Thanks. Because I was going to ask the same question.
