I've been friends with Ted for years. They are getting a lot more than Big Daddy's got or what Josh or Dan got for the their downtown bars. Or what Wayne, Charlie, Lloyd, and Wayne's widow got for the Diamond.

Gee when all coaches wear suits or jackets on the bench the term wardrobe would come into play.

But they are cashing out better than any other bar sales in GF. This has been in the works for awhile. Hence, why they have not been trying anything.

This has been in negotiations for the last couple of years. Bill, Ted, and Walter finally got their number and Opp decided finally the market was ready. Bill, Ted, and Walter own all of the building and lot except for the piece a bank owns of what was Shangri La. BTW owns about 85% of the building and lot. I suppose someone here will tell me I am wrong.

Brooks would be a step up for Hak even. Boss are only so-so and nothing special. Polo purple is nice but black label is even nicer. Neimans or Hubert White are better stores.

It is called simply dressing with class. Sorry but shopping for suits at Macys does not cut it.

He does not wear his jacket and tie for his pre-game interview, which by the way looks tack. Always wears it for the game though. He wears a suit jacket on the bench. He just wears cheap suits, shirts, and ties. They all wear suits on the bench at all games.

So he wears nice suits and ties unlike Hakstol who could use some dressing tips. With the money Hakstol makes you would think he could buy some nice suits, shirts, and ties.

The Orleans Arena seats around 8,000 for hockey with great sight lines. Reasonably priced hotel attached with $2 Bud Lights. They have a lot of experience hosting college tournaments even.

If you had 8 or 12 teams and the regular season champ was not in those 8 or 12 teams too bad. For pairwise numbers you would have to use the standings at the end of the regular season and not playoffs. I really don't like the auto bid. That would be like AA getting lucky at tourney time and getting in. Not right or fair.

Neither of which played worth a damn.

Cut it back to 8 teams and top 4 get home ice for a 2/3 series. Too many teams are making the tourney that should not be there. Throw out the league championship clause also. Is it really parity in college hockey that the lower seeds are winning? Or just they had one good night and the top team and off night?

Saw him with the Eagles in '78 and 80. Solo 81 I think.

My questions is, why the NCAA allows woman's hockey to play the Frozen Four at a teams home arena and they wont allow regionals for the men to be played on campus sites? Or 2 games Tuesday (1 and 2 seeds) 2 games Wednesday (3 and 4 seeds) semi-finals Thursday with championship Saturday. Anything over the way it is done now. The teams are getting jerked as are the fans.

It is a known fact that I have never liked Hakstol as a person or a coach. With that said I see no reason in the world to fire him. With the discussion above about the playoff format that makes me wonder if Hakstol has been more a victim of a bad playoff format than anything? Two years ago he got outcoached against Michigan in one game. Now if it had been a 2/3 who here thinks that Hakstol and Co. would not have created a new game plan and won the next 2 games? Some people I think just expect way too much.

Maybe even take it further and only take the top 8 teams to start with. They way it is now finishing on top in your league and pairwise really benefits a team not very much. It is like they tried to take the bb model and extend it to hockey thinking it would make them more money. Don't expand, cut back. Top 8 teams with 1-4 having home ice, play a 2/3 series, with the winners going to the Frozen Four. The way it is now the bottom teams have to due to little to get to the semi-finals.
