But hey who on the team would not trade places with Dell in a second? Now his pads are the right color though. From looking at the Aeros roster Dell will be starting. The other 3 goalies on their roster have played a total of 11 games for the Aeros. With that in mind you would think that he will be staying for awhile. Could be the big break he needed. Even if the Aeros don't sign him, or the Wild, he might impress some other team enough to sign him.

Did anyone here ever really get a chance to watch Luke's dad and uncle play when they were his age or college age? If anyone has seen all of them play have you seen any similarities between them? I've seen his dad and uncle play a lot but I think I have seen Luke play a couple of times for Central so I have nothing to compare.

How has the attendance been this year for the Force?

I found that York won the league in 81-82, 82-83, 83-84, and 86-87. While Ron Mason won in 75-76, 77-78, and 78-79 with BG. The 2 seasons between 83-84 and 86-87 were when Mason won with Michigan St. So between the 75-76 season and the 86-87 season BG won 7 league titles. Hard to say winning in 84 was a miracle. Looks more like BG was a top program at the time.

Agree with you on this. It was easier to win in the past. But you still needed to win the games you needed to win so that has not changed.

No what I am saying is that UND had really done nothing for 16-17 years until they won. Then all of a sudden they are a top program again. So saying that BG winning was a miracle would be no different than saying UND in 80 was a miracle. Neither were miracles.

I am ashamed to be a fan of the same team as some of you.

For that matter why not UND in 80 and 82. It is not like they were some power house program at the time.

But would not have Hak contributed a lot in the recruiting of these guys to start with? OK Lucifer did it with some of Woog's boys because he had not been there when they were recruited. But Hak was there so they really could be said to be his recruits also. No one has brought this up and I have been thinking about this. To win a national all the stars have to align properly. A groove as a team has to be found. I do not think no matter how hard one tries the groove comes on its own. When something is going right it is just that way. You can not control or make this groove no matter how hard one tries to create more or less a feeling. Yale just got into a groove for 2 games. Are they going to have that groove still 2 weeks later? I guess we will find out tomorrow. Better words Hak has only so much control or influence and then fate takes over. Look at 87, 97, and 2000. I don't think it was talent so much but the groove the talent that was there put together. As most of you know I do not like Hak but I can not see any reason to fire him. Even if he was and then next coach took a title with Haks guys I still would not give the new guy credit. Too much of it all falls on the luck of the day. Hence how people have mentioned all the pipes that were hit against Yale and the entire season. Probably why I believe in fate so much. Look at how one chance meeting can change one's life.

I never said I did. I said that BTW got a lot more than they did. Which they are getting. Why would they get a lot more? Their lot is 4 times as big, if not more. Big Daddy's property would be zoned commercial and BTW's can be zoned for multi-family housing and is a much more desirable piece to develop. So how much will they get gfhockey since you THINK you know so much.
