  1. I don't think we have as many walk ons this year so the chances are more slim.
  2. Versatility as in some passes were good and others were awful?
  3. I think bring em all in and if one or two of the guys we already have get beat out then its better for the team. Maybe it'll be a good thing to have a ton of competition for the 6 d spots instead of how it was this year where it took monumental failures on the ice to get scratched.
  4. Is it normal to have 2 d men in suits every game? Also what will Panz's role end up being? He's the most skilled guy in the world and there are 4 very good fr coming in. It doesn't seem like a good situation for him. A positive though is that Mattson will have to regain his form and decision making or he'll be in a suit regularly since these new guys can all play right away.
  5. Mattson to forward?
  6. Because we need more overage Canadians
  7. Does it bother anyone that players come in talking about going pro and the facilities? What about coming in and winning a championship? Perhaps that mentality is why we haven't won one in a while?
  8. I'm gonna have to disagree about him 'flopping' around. He's super quick side to side and dropping down to butterfly but I didn't see him flopping around like Lamoureux or anything. I wish he was taller though......
  9. The entire under grad chemistry department is a joke. Teachers that can't speak English let alone teach. Most of them are there for research and its up to the students and ta's to teach the material. Other than the chemistry department which is god awful I can't think of another department that had terrible teachers across the board.
  10. I have yet to hear anything bad about Schleusner and Kotelnicki as coordinators. They both seem to be upgrades from their predecessors even though they are much younger. From what I hear Kotelnicki is restoring the old culture on the defense. They may be a couple of years away from being a dominant D1 defense but they will be massively improved next year. Big things are on the horizon if we can keep these two coaches.
  11. I still think Varner is a year away. He looked good though. He just needs to put on some more poundage.
  12. Shaugs is my number one right now. He's got what we need in a rb. I wish Sparks would've been healthy so we could've seen him in action. Garmin looked a lot thicker and faster too so who knows maybe all 4 will see some action.
  13. Last year I believe the buy or sell / over under thread kept things alive
  14. If Mollberg can improve his touch on fades and intermediate throws where he needs to drop it in a bucket he will win the job no problem. Right now that's the advantage Bartles has. Bartels won't get much faster so Mollbergs speed is a game changer in this competition. At the same time I would not be surprised if Bartels won the job even thought he is basically the underdog.
  15. What's frattins status with the leafs these days?
  16. Better question is do they have a qb who can get him the ball?
  17. There has usually been really good depth. The last few years have been out of the ordinary.
  18. He would get coach of the year most likely since it'd be done with a freshman qb. I think it would take a pretty bad season for him to get fired though. Faison seems to understand that the team is on the rise and has a fr qb. If the next two seasons are not good then there should be a new coach but I don't see that happening. It seems like the team is on the rise and deapth is building which is huge.
  19. Next years schedule might be the best we will see for years. 7 home games is awesome but to have all of those against your toughest teams is a massive advantage. Those roads games aren't easy but Idaho st is as close to an easy road game as it gets. A winning record is a must and playoffs should almost be expected due to the schdule advantage.
  20. Faison stated at the team banquet that they've handed the team the playoffs in a platter and will be basically expecting it. I'd assume that means mussman is officially on the clock.
  21. Still waiting on the punch line......
  22. Better make the playoffs this year with 7 home games
  23. Turns out your buddy isn't 6'5". It's funny how people shrink from high school to college and from college to the pros. Recruit Dan Bell was listed at 6'6" and mussman said he's about 6'3".
  24. The dude has the most talent of any WR we've ever had. His hands are unreal and so is his body control. Those two characteristics are natural gifts. He's also damn near 6'5" and will probably be 210-220 lbs when he's a senior. He'll continue to get faster and better at running routes. He's going to do some very big things this next season.
