  1. That 'yard sale' at the blue line from lil number 7 where he felt the tap of a stick on his shin and did a superman dive while tossing his equipment all over the ice was one of the worst dives I've ever seen in a hockey game. I thought I was watching Ecuador play soccer against England the way he flew through the air and turned into a rag doll on impact. Pathetic. And then the little punk decides to be a big man and chirp Jim and try and get physical..... Thankfully Jim reminded him what time it was and folded him up like a lawn chair. The 4th line last night was worth the price of admission. Roswell was on beast mode all night long. When he threw that Badger over the goalie and then dropped another in that little front of the net skirmish, I knew they had broken Wisconsins will and the game was very much over.
  2. Also. This game was 4-1 with a fluke goal and Kristo not being his normal cold blooded self. That should scare any team in the country.
  3. My one problem with this nights game was not seeing Pattyn throw down finally. There hasn't been a player I've wanted to see in a fight as much since Pirpich (other than Hextal of course). That would have been as satisfying as seeing little #7 fold like a lawn chair after Jim gave him a jab in one of the scrums..
  4. If we play with the same edge and purpose physicality wise the rest of the season few teams will be able to handle it. The 4th line was unreal tonight Jim and manrod threw people around all night and cycled like crazy. They played like men.
  5. Long gone are the days of McBane prowling the blue line for Wisconsin. They are getting absolutely manhandled tonight.
  6. Rocco is the man so far tonight. Even put someone on his ass.
  7. The key to not getting caught is to do it during the visiting team intro when the lights are low
  8. Both guys looked like legit college prospects. Especially the goalie. When he did the splits he would cover post to post. Great size.
  9. It's a two man job for sure to get it over the glass and sliding out far enough so everyone can see
  10. The one time there's some good action..... Such is life. Ill be there in person tonight so hopefully it boils over
  11. Yup. He was very impressive for an 8th grader. Lightning quick and great hands. As matures I'm sure he'll be a force and move on to juniors. The first time he got the puck I had to look at the roster because he stood out so much as he blew past three guys for a scoring chance.
  12. Honestly I almost always wonder how they're going to replace the production of player a or player b from one year to the next and usually someone steps up.
  13. Goon any video of the scrum that apparently happened? I was at the central game when it happened so I didn't get to see it.
  14. I thought he was saying it was a joke that it was inaccurate
  15. Game just finished central won in ot. Devils lakes goalie had 62. It's his second 60+ save game this year.
  16. Devils Lake has one hell of a young goaltender. He's only a soph and is 6'3". Perhaps a future goaltending prospect.
  17. Of course it does. They were absolutely stacked and couldn't get it done. I thought they were a better team than the '10 team that also blew it.
  18. That sucks for both Rodgers and Und. It's what makes recruiting as entertaining as it is though.
  19. Use the side door and know somebody who is working. I threw one on the ice at the Ralph a while back. Nothing like a frozen badger carcass sliding across the ice.
  20. Who do you think was the best group of freshman ever at UND? My vote is for the 2006 Oshie Toews class as the greatest of all time. So much skill. High end draft picks all over the place. Great NHL impact.
  21. Over/under 2 frozen badgers on the ice this weekend
  22. If I had to chose between the two I'd go with sharp every time. He shows on film that he can get it done between the tackles and he runs with some fire.
  23. The calm before the storm.... I hope
