I think a lot of you people should take the gun out of your mouth and see how the team plays tonight. They just came off of a huge and emotionally draining series with um. We weren't the only team who played in marriucci last week that lost last night. Wait and see how we play tonight. If we don't show up again and give them the effort plays and lay down then that will warrant a !@#$ storm.

I feel like once there is a taste of the rivalry in the playoffs both sides will want the game more. Especially since the people that want the nickel back in Fargo understand that it is a regular season trophy.

Last night reminded me of a certain foosball team against a certain eastern Washington foosball team this last fall..... Not acceptable and pretty embarrassing. You can say that again. UND had enough talent to have had a great transition. Instead they waited til that talent either graduated or was a senior and D2 was stale and dead. Also think about how good the games in 06 and 07 would have been.

Gleason needs to not play defense. He gets caught up on the rush and leaves the team hanging too often not to mention his sketchy passes from his own end. Oh and put panz in.

Being a soar loser is a common trait with some great winners like Michael Jordan and Tom Bradey. I'd take that over someone who lays down and takes their whoopin as long as the coaches can harness it.

I think people forget that not long ago NDSU had serious issues with attendance and atmosphere at the FargoDome. They won and now they have great attendance and tailgating and atmosphere (they will try and say they had these all along).

And yet we had no problem playing and beating uni. We robbed ourselves of an epic 2007 game

Honestly I don't think mcgurran will be that hard to replace as a player. He was a terrible athlete and not exactly a bull dozer. His experience and leadership will be what needs to be replaced but I'm confident that someone will fill the leadership void. The reason I think Adams could play right away is that his competition is Sean Mehan who I haven't been overly impressed with and Jake Hoerschner who will be a senior and has played sparingly. His stiffest competition would be if Walker didn't play center which I think is unlikely.

So our remaining needs in this recruiting season are cb and lb. Both lines seem locked up as do rb wr te qb s and p. Who are the top targets remaining and how many unknown chest bumps are out their and for which coach? I assume Thurman is still major target.

I think the oline next year will be an improvement. I feel like Adams will contribute immediately and the younger guys will be much more athletic than gilson and mcgurran. Kleason can stay at tackle and the guards can be Anderson and Adams with walker at center and denui at the other tackle. That's at the very leat an instant upgrade in athleticism on the line. Kleason Adams and Denui are all nasty players which should translate to the rest of the team and the running game in particular.

Not a bad thought. He's also strong as an Ox. He might be too short though.

His arm doesn't look too bad but his fundamentals are terrible. He'd be a major project as a qb. Probably a way easier transition to db. I also like when qbs transition to defense since they know how qbs think and what they look for.
