  1. Buy. Already happened. Or do you mean starting now? Ill buy 2-1 start for now.... Maybe ill change my mind later. Buy or sell the online improving immensely due to an overall upgrade in athleticism.
  2. Interesting. I don't recall saying he has an 'awful' arm and 'can't throw in a windy stadium'. You must have read that somewhere else. What I did say was that his mechanics are awful, not his arm. I also said that his awful mechanics could lead to inconsistent throws from time to time which in a windy environment would not be good. Never said he can't throw in a windy stadium. I honestly think that the coaches are so pleased with Mollberg and Bartels that finding another Braden Hanson is the last thing on their mind.
  3. Go back and read my post. Then make corrections since you see some holes. Also notice the reason i stated for not wanting him to come to und was because of team chemistry not his ability.
  4. Since I have no clue on the subject feel free to correct my points instead of offering nothing.
  5. That's more like it
  6. 1. His mechanics are awful. He throws like Sammy Baugh, only problem is Slingin Sammy was slingin a glorified rugby ball with how the old football were shaped and actually finished his motion with his wrist. 2. I'm actually well versed on how to throw a football and can actually spin it pretty well myself. I also know the advantages of a good release point and a quick wrist flick vs a push where the shoulder inefficiently moves ahead of the rest of the arm (which is terrible for your shoulder) and makes the ball come out low and easy to block. 3. His yards were impressive. He also plays in a spread em out pass happy system where everyone gets yards. We run a different offense, even though we now spread it out more than ever we still take plenty of snaps under center. 4. Back to mechanics. Tight mechanics means more consistency on the spiral and trajectory of the ball, which is very important when playing at Montana Montana St and Eastern Washington where wind is a factor and a tight spiral can cut through the wind. When he winds the ball up below his belt he's basically asking a DE to have it. There should never be an initial downward motion by the shoulder when starting a throw, it wastes an incredible amount of time (just ask Tim Tebow) and makes it harder to throw with touch since it makes it harder to finish with the wrist. 5. Finishing with the wrist. Lunt doesn't do it. It's hard on the shoulder and makes the release point low. The release point should be at least at the crown of the head and that's as low as it should be. 6. He's shown considerable durability concerns. Doesn't matter how good he is if he's watching from the sidelines. Now I never said he wasn't good and couldn't win the starting job at UND. I just voiced concern over red flags and the all important team chemistry.
  7. I wouldn't want him because it would be bad for team chemistry. Also his mechanics are god awful. I'm not sure how someone with a long sloppy motion could be ranked so high other than his being 6'5" and having an above average arm in terms of strength. Mollberg and Bartels are the future and the future is bright.
  8. I don't think we have as many walk ons this year so the chances are more slim.
  9. Versatility as in some passes were good and others were awful?
  10. I think bring em all in and if one or two of the guys we already have get beat out then its better for the team. Maybe it'll be a good thing to have a ton of competition for the 6 d spots instead of how it was this year where it took monumental failures on the ice to get scratched.
  11. Is it normal to have 2 d men in suits every game? Also what will Panz's role end up being? He's the most skilled guy in the world and there are 4 very good fr coming in. It doesn't seem like a good situation for him. A positive though is that Mattson will have to regain his form and decision making or he'll be in a suit regularly since these new guys can all play right away.
  12. Mattson to forward?
  13. Because we need more overage Canadians
  14. Does it bother anyone that players come in talking about going pro and the facilities? What about coming in and winning a championship? Perhaps that mentality is why we haven't won one in a while?
  15. I'm gonna have to disagree about him 'flopping' around. He's super quick side to side and dropping down to butterfly but I didn't see him flopping around like Lamoureux or anything. I wish he was taller though......
  16. The entire under grad chemistry department is a joke. Teachers that can't speak English let alone teach. Most of them are there for research and its up to the students and ta's to teach the material. Other than the chemistry department which is god awful I can't think of another department that had terrible teachers across the board.
  17. I have yet to hear anything bad about Schleusner and Kotelnicki as coordinators. They both seem to be upgrades from their predecessors even though they are much younger. From what I hear Kotelnicki is restoring the old culture on the defense. They may be a couple of years away from being a dominant D1 defense but they will be massively improved next year. Big things are on the horizon if we can keep these two coaches.
  18. I still think Varner is a year away. He looked good though. He just needs to put on some more poundage.
  19. Shaugs is my number one right now. He's got what we need in a rb. I wish Sparks would've been healthy so we could've seen him in action. Garmin looked a lot thicker and faster too so who knows maybe all 4 will see some action.
  20. Last year I believe the buy or sell / over under thread kept things alive
  21. If Mollberg can improve his touch on fades and intermediate throws where he needs to drop it in a bucket he will win the job no problem. Right now that's the advantage Bartles has. Bartels won't get much faster so Mollbergs speed is a game changer in this competition. At the same time I would not be surprised if Bartels won the job even thought he is basically the underdog.
  22. What's frattins status with the leafs these days?
  23. Better question is do they have a qb who can get him the ball?
  24. There has usually been really good depth. The last few years have been out of the ordinary.
