Keep building. The defense is what needs to be built up this year. Reestablish the run game along with the defense and the stage will be set for a surprise playoff birth. We were in a lot of game and even the ewu and msu games before we let them get away from us. We can hang with anyone in the big sky.

Are you suggesting that a new version of the same steel wool AstroTurf surface would have been acceptable? Notice how the Fargo dome had enough tact to put a big ugly bison logo at the 50? The alerus just doesn't get it on some things.

I wonder what the deal is with the sidelines. I know that the box or whatever it's called that holds the turf is only so wide but having uncovered concrete is an eyesore and potentially dangerous to players with cleats. Hardin almost whiped out after a td last year on that crap.

Not all of the lights were on so it would make the grass look unsaturated. I love the endzone. A+ on that. I also like that they learned their lesson and didn't paint green on a green field in the bigsky and alerus logos like last year. A+ on that. For the love of God alerus center, people know what the building is, there is no need for those gaudy oversized ostentatious logos at the 50 yard line. UND is the main tenant and the only reason you got the damn turf let alone the building in the first place. The only good part about that logo is that it's painted on and can be moved and rescaled if they ever pull their heads out of their asses and put a nice huge ND at the 50. F+ on that.

He's going to be an outstanding center. His athleticism will give the coaches a lot of flexibility in the run game

In related news, hard work still pays off.

It's not like I don't like the cup. The story is tremendous and it kicks the ass out of all the other trophies out there. For a player who pours his soul into being able to lift that trophy as a champion it would be amazing. As a fan who enjoys watching hockey the trophy is cool.

I've seen it and touched it. At the end of the day it's just a trophy. The experience of a game is worth far more in my opinion.

Pretty selfish to feel that Toews is supposed to bring the cup here. He can do whatever he damn well pleases with the thing. If he brings it here, great. If not, it doesn't matter. Its just a pile of metal.

To lead the big sky in offense we would need to pass the ball more than I'd like. I'd rather be top three in rushing and have good passing numbers but most of all lead the league in possession time and turnover margin. Those two stats win games.

He's probably a really long shot for us to get but I like what it shows in coaching philosophy. They aren't going after little scat backs to run a spread with. They're going after big strong fast power backs so we can get back to pounding the rock. It's defiantly a nice thing to see that the coaches haven't forgotten what it takes to win championships.

This is a great move for him. His style of play is perfect for the kings.

i hope neither of these happen. I'd rather lead the BSC in wins and have WRs with good numbers but would take a 1000 yard rusher over a pair of 1000 WRs. I'll sell both.
