  1. That's why it's important as a young man to understand the difference between a women and .... just listen to the song.
  2. The best way to get a line going is the pound the rock. It's better than throwing an int when we pass too much. I'm not saying it will work but linemen love to run block and why not invest more in the run game. If it works at all the team will be better off as a whole.
  3. Lets hope they develope and we can get them.
  4. I was on the catwalk for the game. What was he doing? He's the transfer from Valley City St.
  5. Can you elaborate more? I haven't heard enough about local players.
  6. He was down there when we were a perennial power that prided itself on discipline. He belongs.
  7. I know you mean next three games since we go to Idaho St between EWU and msu. It's easy to overlook that game, I hope out team doesn't.
  8. Senior leadership solves that type of stuff in an instant.
  9. I just wanted to point out that Joe was very good on his final drive of the 1st half. He made some good throws under pressure. He just couldn't quite punch it in when they entered the red zone.
  10. Kauk is welcomed with open arms by every sports team in town. It's kind of up to his discretion at this point. It's almost like Serge Gambucci getting tickets to hockey games but not quite.
  11. I still feel that should have been one of those athlete common sense moments where Carr instead of motioning for Otto to cover Van should have gone out there himself and had Otto take his man.
  12. With all due respect Kauk can be on the sidelines whenever the hell he wants. I always looked forward to seeing him there and I know I had teammates that did as well. When he missed home games things just didn't feel right. There does need to be way better sideline discipline though. WAY better.
  13. These next 3 games will tell us how good this team is. We now know how bad they can be because we saw their worst. The last game was unacceptable.
  14. Look at the last two classes and that will answer your questions.
  15. Joe needs to set his feet. If he did that he'd miss fewer throws. Only problem his the line sucked and threw everything off.
  16. Let me put it this way. They had two weeks to look at game film while we had one. We only had one game of their new offense to look at. They should have had a pregame plan advantage since they had so much time to prepare. We should look for the same from UND next game. If not then we're in trouble in that aspect. Coming off the buy should always be a huge advantage.
  17. They need to take some pressure off the qbs. They're putting way too much on their plate, I don't care how talented they may be they're still freshman. Force the run til it works. Find a combo that works. Maybe slide walker over to guard and go from there.
  18. Like Jackson in the wildcat? Seemed to work pretty well. Also worked well when they split the fb Iverson out wide and had him pancake a db on a bubble screen to Jackson that was a big gainer.
  19. It was 3rd and 5 and Montana had 2 wrs on the field a te and a fb. You wouldn't want nickel against that formation typically. It was a great call and a timeout should've been called or Otto should have switched with the safety during the motion but that's easy to say after the fact.
  20. And that situation was a nickel situation?
  21. LB's generally have the RB in man coverage. Sometimes the safety. It was a good call. The only thing that could have stopped that would have been a time out or some blatant holding on Otto's part right away.
  22. I wonder what would happen if, next game, we come out and refuse to pass the ball downfield for the first few drives and the coaches attempt a smash mouth attack with runs and screens? Anyone think the OL would maybe wake up and get an edge? There's nothing like being able to enforce your will on an opponent like we used to.
  23. I was also referring to my post where I stated that we'll be better after we lose some of our worthless seniors. This year we're averaging 412 given up on D through 3 games against 2 of the best teams in the country and one of the worst D1 teams out there. Last year our schedule wasn't as hard and we gave up on average 480 yards and that includes a game against South Dakota State School of Mimicry and Technology. I'd put money on our defense averaging better than last years defense in yards given up per game even though it's a harder schedule. It's not Kool Aid it's an opinion that you disagree with.
  24. I'm not sure how a negative post like that is considered Kool Aid drinking
  25. One good thing about this buy week is that the wound can fester even longer. This game needs to be in the back of their minds for the rest of the season as a motivating and unifying factor. If they try and move on like it never happened they won't improve enough.
