The problem is that people think their defense is that good by itself. They get complimented in a huge way by a great punter and a ball control offense that gives them all day to rest and make adjustments.

NDSU does fine with a meat and potatoes offense.

The reason I want a smashmouth offense is because it's the best friend of a defense. Oregon and Auburn have bad defenses because of they way they play offense. I want offense and defense to compliment each other instead of the offense ruining the defense. I'd rather have an offense that averages 15 points a game and a d that averages 10 than an offense that averages 38 and a d that averages 38.

Auburn runs the read totally different than Oregon. We need a smashmouth offense.

If they did that I would actually watch baseball.

The only issue I have with pflugrad is that I don't want to run that offense at UND. I'd rather go pro style with a mixed in spread as a change of pace. I'm not a fan of the Oregon offense. There's a reason they haven't won a game against a team with equal talent recently.

It's funny. If it had been to Alabama it'd still be funny. What's wrong with this guy having one hell of a sense of humor and taking advantage of the ND laws that make this possible. Might as well enjoy a good laugh while Faison does his thing.

For all the Faison haters out there. Put yourself in his shoes. You need to make the most important personnel decision of your life and your legacy/job will be directly affected by it. Why would he make it public knowledge if he is doing things off the record to circumvent the nd system? Wouldn't you want this hire to not only be a home run but also be a pristine hire with no negative pub? I trust he's doing his thing right now and it shouldn't be questioned until he gives us a good reason to question his ability to find the right man for the job.

Let's just get a Krispy Kreme and eliminate the problem of shity doughnuts in gf. New coaches with a new doughnut shop on top.

He's done quite well with his other hires so if we have to wait for a phenomenal coach that's fine by me.

There should be no argument from anyone that the football budget needs to be at least doubled. You get what you put in.
