17 won't be escorting Grizzlies into the end zone this year, that makes a world of difference.

I swear to God, if he ends up never playing due to injury that will make for a difference making linemen in consecutive classes never seeing the field.

Their offense is more our style to defend well than MSUs was though.

He does throw one hell of a deep ball. The WRs do need to attack the ball better. OL needs to continue to improve. But Joe really needs to get to the point where the game slows down and he's in control. He's played a lot for a soph, that needs to start to pay dividends.

I don't want to see musical qbs, I do want to see his decision making improve though.

What about those three other throws that hit MSU players? I love Joes arm but he's an int machine.

Mollberg ha a decent game. He also was very close to throwing 4 ints..... He needs to clean those throws up.

We haven't lost the game yet. We're already at 2/3 of last years win total. The defense is fun to watch again. Annnnnnd nobody cares.

It's strange but after 4 games I have no idea what to expect. MSU is such a different opponent that we have no sample to predict from. I do predict, though, that it will be better than this years first MSU game.

For all we know he meant as of now only two play like D1 OL. Maybe he just meant they need to work extra hard to squeeze potential out of some of these guys.

Two things I learned from a very informative conversation. Coach Knaupf is not very high on his OL, he only feels two of them are true D1 caliber players. I assume one of them is Francis, who knows who the other one is. Either way that's pretty telling of what he inherited and what his standards are. Also the coaches are apparently VERY high on Studsrud, I guess we should really keep an eye on him.

Simmons out, sounds like for a while. Shaugs from what I heard has a high ankle sprain, time to get Sharpe coached up I guess....

I know recently Wentz was number 1 on our board. Mollberg may have been as well.
