Missouri St newly renovated their field. What makes me kind of mad is that in the 40 Memorial was a fine, large stadium. The Alerus is hardly an bigger. Missouri St has gone from a stadium of 8500 in the 40s to a 17500 now. How does Missouri St have a bigger stadium than us? They have 0 championships of any kind, conference, bowl, national. None. Yet they have a stadium that seats 5000 more than ours....

Not sure if serious or just stupid....

I like the banners

At the time we had superior coaching and player development and in showed.
-
For me that's probably the scariest disease there is.

Bold prediction. Shaugs will have 100+ rushing yards.
-
I love how this kid is built. He's a brick !@#$ house. Just what we need. Now let's get the beef in front of him to punish the big sky.
-
I'm interested to see what his senior film looks like. I hope he doesn't end up like the DE we had that got snatched away by NIU.
-
I highly doubt weber will be a bottom team this year. They loaded up on transfers that have made a massive difference. They'll be good.
-
Can't disagree with the heart and lack of breaking on the part of the d. They believe they can be very good. If they clean up the opening drives of each half against RMU we shut them out. They still can't allow 200 yards on the ground though, that can't happen against a legit team.
-
It's great that we won but we need to be much much better to have a chance next week. We improved from week 1 to 2 and I'm proud of the way we greased out an ugly win but giving up 200+ yards in the ground and having the offensive performance that we did is unacceptable. Standards need to be high, nobody should be happy with a squeaked out win against Robert Morris no matter how much better they are than previous years. It's not that there weren't tons of positives to build on but there were a few glaring deficiencies that need to be fixed asap.
-
Defensively it sure was.
-
Yup. Shaugs is what we need.
-
The gap can't get wider than it was last year.
-
I am worried about their QB. Also I think they're going to end up a lot better than last year. They will be good.
-
For the record I'm for sticking with him since that's the only way he'll get better. I've seen him make a ton of NFL throws, I've also seen him make some JV throws. I just don't understand his need to throw almost everything 90 mph and how heavy and sloppy his feet are in the pocket. I firmly believe that if he fixes those two things he'll be a very good qb.
-
That was my least favorite part about Mussman and co.... Edwards and others were far and away the best at their positions and didn't start.
-
I think Bubba and staff like their young OL. I say WR and RB and QB because they're harder to find and easier to just plug in and contribute. I do agree that the trenches are and always should be priority #1 from here on out. We just need a game breaker at WR and RB to make defenses worried.
-
My guess would be a nose or big DE. Most likely nose since he's used some type of rush hashtag for pass rushers.
-
Pretty accurate. I think if the coaches can land an FBS dropdown QB RB and WR things can turn around by next year.

I appreciate yours posts since you are always level headed and full of good insight but I think you may be a little biased to Mollberg. His ability is off the charts but I'm not sure if the mental side of the game is on par. Sure he's only a soph but he's the starting qb and needs to play like it, he's not Joey Bradley. Lazy feet and lack of awareness of when to flick a short pass to an open man and when to rifle one have been his major weaknesses so far. If he can improve those he could be great. It's a long season but he needs to be better as do the OL and WR.
-
Mollberg has a cannon but no touch. His feet are also a mess. They need to be fixed.
-
I like what Simmons brings but I question his durability. Just watching him make contact with defenders is awkward. I've seen him run into defenders instead of exploding into them. He hurt his shoulder yesterday because he lowered a limp shoulder into a defender. He needs to flex that shoulder/arm if he lowers it. I don think he can handle more than 15-18 carries a game. That's why we need a lot more Shaugs.

Will Rattelle is on pace to have 138 tackles this year. He is who we thought he was.
-
So is their defense.
