If we could get a juco OL like Mckendry from a few years ago that would be great. He could play every position and was a great team guy. He had to fill in for an injury his last year and was one of our best OL.

What sucks is after that beautifully thrown bomb to Ferguson I thought the monkey was off Joes back and the offense would be in business..... That obviously didn't happen. Idk what it's going to take to get joe confident in his arm again. If we can kind of pass the ball we could become a dangerous team, til then the d will have to keep scoring tds and pitching near shutouts. Speaking of, Taj Rich has come full circle, he seems like he now had the perfect attitude. He said they weren't good enough last night and that they need to actually give up 0 points. I love that attitude, it will go a long long way.

NDSU will drop off next year, but it won't be by much. Besides, we can't have the attitude that they need to get worse. I want to beat them at their best so we can have a truly intense rivalry with two great teams like it used to be.

Those two backs look like they'll give us trouble. American Int looks like they have no playbook and just line up and freelance.

UND looks to continue their ownership of the FargoDome, NDSU looks to narrow the gap on the all time series.

They just can't try and force it like Mussman and co did at first. They really wanted to get a ton of Cali players but that failed miserably because they didn't respect the program and thought it was a joke. I have no problem with a few southern kids each year but only if they're a fit, you can't force it.

Looks like a very good athlete. I'd like to see him throw from the pocket more to see how his feet are. He can throw on the run really well which would work well in our offense. Anyone else see a Phillip Rivers type release?

WVU Indiana and OSU are not super cold schools. I wouldn't even have Syracuse considered in that.

You could more accurately argue that the UND defense had to cover a lot more yards since MSU could actually move the ball a little bit. Their defense didn't hardly have to move thanks to our hapless offense.

And yet they found guys like Hendrickson Hardin Golladay and Edwards who nobody had ever heard of. They were just too hit and miss.

They can move the pocket all they want but at the end of the day Mollberg needs to complete a throw.

I agree that they should have yanked Mollberg but maybe just maybe they have that little faith in Bartels. In that case something needs to happen to fix the qb situation. Palendech should not have left.

The adjustment we needed to make was to have a qb that can complete a pass or two. The d had a very good first half giving up only 7 points. They can only hold it down for so long, eventually the offense needs to help out.
