  1. Let's go! The defense will set the tone tonight.
  2. Every game is a showcase for these guys that may be cut. The best way to land on your feet is take every oportunity given to you as far as you can. Even if it's just one more game for the Falcons it allows him to show other teams what he can do.
  3. The stream is working nicely from my hotel in San Francisco. I could run through a brick wall right now. Leaving no doubt starts today.
  4. Even in San Francisco with perfect weather and "so much to do" I've got but one thing on my mind. Can't wait for tomorrow.
  5. Somehow I think we would still come out ahead, I'm not even kidding.
  6. Play the man at LB, he will make most teams that use a 3-4.
  7. I actually think Jones is overpaid for how he performs.
  8. What year did women's basketball have its inaugural season?
  9. You know how people get strong on their skates? By getting hit and not going down. No checking ever holds back the development of the sport because they can get away with not being strong on their skates.
  10. Interesting. If the dollars don't make sense it isn't worth it. If a hockey community such as Grand Forks does't support womens hockey doesn't that tell you something about the sport?
  11. God I hope you are right. He seems like a pragmatist to me too but it's been so long since UND has had a decision maker that I trust....
  12. PASSING GP Effic Cmp-Att-Int Pct Yards TD Long Avg/G C. Bednarski 9 109.9 82-155-2 52.9 864 6 70 96.0 Joe Carbone 9 86.4 63-122-8 51.6 617 2 41 68.6 Total.......... 10 99.6 145-277-10 52.3 1481 8 70 148.1 The passing stats for Stony Brook from last year. The QB Carbone is athletic but his stats from last year are encouraging for our d. Also they don't have any experience behind him. Not sure what all of their transfers will add to their offense but I think we can get Carbone to rush things and make mistakes.
  13. Just like on NFL Sunday Countdown if everyone picks the same team they will lose. Thanks for taking the bullet.
  14. Two words: High Performance Center
  15. If their QB isn't massively improved we will win. He is the weak link for them.
  16. Who was your source on this one? gfhockey or siouxvolley?
  17. Just imagine how many would have showed for 1$ ticket night
  18. And lose a ton of revenue potential. Tickets, donations, and sponsors are what can set football apart from the other sports, same with womens hockey. Step one for digging football out of the red is/was winning. That's on it's way already. The second step is the donations and sponsorships side. Winning helps bring back interest and investment.
  19. Hmm how do I put this..... UND women's hockey as a top 5 program drew jack !@#$ while UND football in the worst stretch in 30 years with a lame duck coach still out drew the women's hockey team 8 fold at least. Oh, and the football tickets actually cost money, so there's that. Football will be in the black soon. Women's hockey will always be in the red.
  20. Mhockey draws fans to games so it holds nothing back.
  21. WHockey isn't holding football back. Football held itself back by hiring the wrong coach and letting him run the program into the ground. Whockey is holding the basketballs and volleyball back.
