Usually happens after one good game, not in the quarterfinals. It’s technically progress.

Front 7 is, once again, too small.

Gotta be within 10pts at the half. Like at NDSU, down 6-14 at the half was manageable. We ended up down 6-21 because of that stupid long TD pass and that changed everything.

I’d prefer we don’t start slow and let them hit deep passes over the top like SDSU. The second half of that game, now that’d how I’d like to see our guys play for 4 quarters.

I don’t know anything about OL so I’ll give my opinion. I watched him on a few of our first plays and he seemed quick and was able to lock onto a guy and move his feet well enough to keep really good leverage. Didn’t see him leaning and reaching too much. I’m sure some former, or still, big ugly, on this board can give a better analysis.

Which goes back to the point I’ve made probably once a month since Clive Georges left town. We lack legit speed to take the top off at wr and it hurts our offense. All of our wrs are either quick or big but non of them can burn.

This is a much better point than the one you were arguing on the two long TD passes. This is why I think we have a very slim, at best, chance of beating JMU
