Would be likely to see a lot from Ferris thought, Big Rapids is such an armpit of a town that most of them will come down to GR to hang out for the weekend. Very hard for me to see the powers that be to justify not sending any Michigan team to the Van Andel. Might get away with it if they get Wisconsin and Notre Dame there. Would be very interesting if NoDak does get sent to Grand Rapids. Some of us Lakers could be pretty torn about who do we cheer for.

Playing bit of the Devil's advocate here, but ALABAMA in 2001 was a neutral site. Perhaps a little more pro GVSU in 2003, but still was a neutral site. Winning on the road at a neutral site is one thing, try going into somebody's house and winning a playoff game! And need I remind ya that GVSU didn't have any home playoff games this year?

Hell, Tech did drop their football program for about 5 minutes last year. Their alumni bailed them out. Next year GVSU plays Tech at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor pretty much as a big fundraiser for them. The athletic dollar at Tech is stretched pretty thin. Maybe you guys should have somebody with a big sign that says fundraiser for MTU and have them go around collecting funds for them. It will be like those stories you hear about the Yankees burning $100 bills in front of the Twins or something.
