  1. Spoke a little soon...Maine had a couple close chances, but UND did infact kill the penalty.
  2. Sioux getting the job done on the kill this time.
  3. "Gametrax" sucks from CSTV, way behind. UND with awesome pressure in 2nd. Piling it on with 2 quick goals, and more to follow.
  4. Stafford from Genoway and Spirko on PP 2-1 Sioux!!!
  5. GREENE WITH THE TWISTED WRISTER ...may have been tipped!!!! 1-1 UND evens it!!!!
  6. UND does not convert on 4 seconds of penalty time. Good pressure now for Sioux though.
  7. Holding on Maine...UND will get another carryover powerplay. Lets do something with it!!
  8. Murray and Genoway are creating chances this weekend. Looks like another solid pairing.
  9. Yeah, but then before the guy could shoot he was "pounded" by Stafford.
  10. Sounds like Jones is going for Hooking as well. 2-Man Advantage.
  11. Penalty killed by ND. Still 1-0 Maine.
  12. Bina had a good summer and, apparently, a good week of practice. I think they wanted to start someone with some experience in Maine. I wouldn't be surprised to see him start in Mankato though.
  13. Maine Scores on PP. 0-1 1:11 into First.
  14. You might be able to download the link and play it with another player (REAL player) and then use the default WMP as the player for the other one.... Not sure if that would work or not. I usually use the radio, but I don't think that's an option for you.
  15. I appreciate the goalie rotation, and especially early in the year. It helps figure out who's going to step up with consistency. However, I'd like to see, sometime this year, UND go with one goalie through an entire series. I think it'd be a good test for whomever they decide can handle it. All three goalies should be really solid this year, though. Good luck to Jake Brandt tonight! Go Sioux!
  16. I wouldn't be concerned with us taking an obscene amount of penalties. The coaching staff is there to combat that, and the players will adjust. What I would be concerned with is us taking advantages of the opportunities given to us. 0-8 won't cut it (*not without a penalty shot in OT ) Maine did take advantage of its 11 tries with 2 goals. Take those away and its 4 (or 3) to 1. Getting it done on our side will help when we take our penalties.
  17. TD Weston Dressler!!! 27-0 Sioux!
  18. Any bar that has or is willing to get CSTV will have the game available. I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings. Saturday is a different story. Probably end up going to the women's game and watching it on the concourse tvs
  19. Brady Murray...I feel your blonde mustache pain. The peach fuzz would be pretty funny.
  20. Just noticed that Maine dropped 7 on Vermont. I guess that was flukey? I realize that against real opponents and good defenses they don't score much, but they CAN score when needed...and that's not too often with Jimmy in goal.
  21. For being a balanced team, they sure do mention their goalie a lot.
  22. When I look at that again after writing it, I see that I've got Maine with 6 goals on Friday. This is contingent upon the ugliness factor. We all know that when the defenses clamp down Maine doesn't score more than 3. Therefore, if we bring our "A" PHYSICAL defense we can shut them down to 3 or less and maybe even take both. Now I just have to remember that we're playing Jimmy Howard, so maybe we won't get 4. I want to see Stafford or Zajac (both ) dazzle us with a highlight reel goal next weekend too. I'm going to stand by my 4 goal a night prediction. If we can get that, I expect we can get the W.
  23. As anxious as I am, I thought I would kick this off early. Maine is going to be a huge test. I like having harder games early, but at the same point, just like last year against BC, this series could be ugly. I'm thinking Maine takes game 1 by 6-4 with possibly an empty. UND battles back in game two and shines 4-1. Goalies step up and shut down. We've got huge offensive talent, and I can guarentee you that Zajac and Stafford will be getting comfortable together. You could see the chemistry building. The D was good in the late second/early third against Manitoba, and I'm sure will step up the physicality against Maine. They accomplished their goal of not taking a major penalty, and hopefully accrued no injuries. I'm really pumped for next weekend, and this one isn't even over yet. I'm thinking Jake gets the nod in Orno, but I'd like to see Jordan. I wish he could've gotten some time tonight, but maybe they're resting him. One thing is for sure, this year we have TWO goalies with big-game experience. What does everyone else think?
  24. Sorry to beat a dead horse... I just had a thought about season tix for next year. How about we have the line away from the Ralph, and have some type of physical chart with seat numbers that you can take off and claim? The key is to take the Ralph out of the distribution equation, and this way people could camp out. Perhaps they could hold an "official" hockeyfest in, say, Memorial Stadium parking lot? It would be fun, safe, and very well monitored. Plus, die hard fans wouldn't get left in the dust...and the words LOTTERY or RAFFLE won't be uttered. I'm sure going to miss the "Kiss Cam" signs and other such paraphenalia near the opposing penalty box....
  25. GET OVER YOURSELF, TROLL!
