"The line formerly known as The Money Line" strikes again. Murray (7?) from Parise and Bochenski. Mankato finally puts the SO streak to an end. 2-1 MN Now they say it's Genoway from ZP and BB Z Par scores again (10) from BM and BB Powerplay again

JPar standing on his head. Good for him.
-
I've never heard a PA announcer say "Roughing the Goaltender" with so much gusto...it's like its the only thrilling announcement he's made today...hmm well ok maybe it does make sense.
-
HA! 5min major for running JPar. What the ... were they just chanting before that? My best guess was "how bout Greene"...but that doesn't make too much sense, does it?
-
Do my ears deceive me?! OVERRATED!!!!... you have got to be kidding me, if that is indeed what they are chanting. That deserves a laugh. Ha Ha
-
Brothers...that makes sense...thanks. Good point about the comment. No team needs to give us motivation to outscore them 14-4! I'm thinking the Gophers are becoming more confident beating up on these powderpuffs. Hopefully we can bring them back to reality.

Kind of off topic, but is Marek Dora of any relation to Lukas Dora of Denver?
-
That would make a great promo for NHL game of the week...or something along those lines. Possibly even a Miller Lite spot. I would laugh for days if I saw that on TV.
-
Sounds like better defense, wouldn't you say. 2-0 after two. "The line formerly known as The Money Line" coming up huge so far. Bochenski PP (20) from Genoway Parise (9) from Murray Genoway and Murray have a million assists already this year. That's a number to be proud of.
-
There's my hopes answered!! That a boy ZP...great assist to Murray.
-
Parise sounds like he is really on "the beat". Stealing and breaking in even shorthanded very frequently. Lets see him bury one.
-
I wonder how accurate the MTU "Hardee's PowerPlay" is?
-
Bochenski 20th on PP...Oh Boy!!
-
Another PP coming, Pittis called. Desmet tripped by Jones...Sioux called. 4X4 This is one of our strengths, so lets bury one how 'bout

The composure/humor/maturity level of Greene really impresses me. He seems so down to earth, no regrets, no sour grapes to the coaches. Really interesting interview. The stick thing is crazy too...but I've heard NHL players that prefer wood sticks.
-
Tech must not be showing it tonight...that or they're really behind. Sounds like Tech came out a lot more fired up. They've hit a couple posts, and quickly killed a UND powerplay
-
Thanks, I appreciate the help. Interesting substituting Greene for Marvin and Massen for Hale. It will probably pay off because these guys need to work their tails off to get a lineup spot vs MN. I would eat my hat if Greene doesn't play against MN though.

That link isn't working...says its outdated. It says for "tonights game" but it probably means Friday. I'll keep looking though.
-
Could I get the link to that... I'd be thrilled if it'd happen to work for me, but I'm not holding my breath
-
Anyone know if that tech webcast is up for tonight? I'm still going to listen to it, but if there's video...I'd opt for the visual Let me know

Oh the memories... I was hooked on Sioux hockey that February weekend. Being in junior high and amongst all the college students for maybe the first time I was emersed. Yelling Screaming... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember in that fateful Saturday game that, not only did I get my first Sioux hockey jersey, when the sioux went ahead and the Goofs pulled the goalie... didn't Dave Spehar knock the net off on purpose to prevent an ENG? ...which we got later anyway SPEHAR...SPEHAR...SPEHAR...BULLSH... ..."Mom, what are they saying, I can't make it out"... "DON'T CHEER ALONG WITH!!" I couldn't hear myself think, but the force of the cheers was pressing on me like the sky was falling. From that moment on, I learned the game, I followed the game/players/teams, I loved the game. You guys, this is probably the most fun you can have on a thread... I'd love to do this by a campfire sharing refreshments outside the old girl.

I completely disagree. Yes, bad penalty, but the level of his game is so much higher this year that I can handle a few mistakes. Maturity...it does wonders...besides he and Jones are hands down our best pair right now. I think/hope/pray that Smaby will be able to play out of his defensive slump. He made horrible plays again on Sat.

The #1 spot is ours to lose... Wisconsin finally showed their true colors against Mi Tech. Good win for those guys, but after comments by Badger players Friday, the Badgers didn't respond well at all. They got "embarrased at (their) barn" Thus we lose a few of our first place votes...but remain at the pinnacle. HOW DID CC GET RANKED SO HIGH!? They played like MITES against the Gophers on Saturday, who by the way, finally look like a team on the move. CC looked aweful and given the credit I already gave the Gophers...both Colorado teams are really biting it this year. Briggs looked solid GOOFERS looked scary. Good win for Dulut after being down twice. Seriously though Smaby got burned took a penalty, questionable call as it may have been, once again attributed to a goal. Congratulations to AA for outworking, outmugging, and almost out scoring (Sat) UND We'll retool and take our frustrations (hopefully not as frustrated as last year around this time) out on Tech Sorry so negative

I didn't think of it like that. But Jones and Greene have really impressed me in their maturity level of late.
-
I think ZP is the most talented TWO WAY Center in the World at this level. He backchecks harder than most players I see...that was evident last night The goals will come, but honestly, I'd rather have balanced scoring with a star that plays like his roster spot is in danger every night. He works so hard out there, both sides of the ice, 110%, and the goals will come... Tonight watch for Zach to have 3 points, Whereabouts I'm not sure, but a hatty would be nice Probably 1G 2A And Bochenski is playing out of his mind right now I really wish Smaby (unrelated topic) would have gone to the juniors like Jones and Greene. Seeing how those guys turned around their game makes me think he could have done the same... I just don't like seeing him get torched every five mins, and Schneider having to save his...
