Schneider called for "delay of game" or something. Hennessy is extremely ticked. Apparently the refs have "no trouble putting UND down 2 men...in fact I think they make a point of it."

I've got TH on in GF. Murray out for at least tonight. Must have been that chop someone was talking about at the end of the game.

If you have read the SCOUT's review of Greene in Hockey's Future you'd realize that your comments are very wrong. The size of the common NHL player is much larger than the common college hockey player. Greene has trouble with clotheslining players who are 5'9". **Insert your favorite clip. The NHL will be harder, but like they say... he is the prototype Defensive Defenseman. If he's gone next year, that's fine we can deal. If he does come back, though unlikely, teams will shiver just a little more when dressing for the game. Not that I know much, but I do agree that taking those penalties is very undisciplined. Though, Jones should have been in the box for his tackle...then our gripe with Anderson would be non-existent. I don't have a gripe, we didn't get it done on offense, and though a very impressive performance, we once again were unable to finish.

Listening to Hennessy last night I noticed a few names that popped up more than others. Radke Bina Genoway Canady Fabian Murray Spirko Each of those players "seemed" to play at full speed, and when they were on the ice, the puck "seemed" to be in CCs zone. Since I wasn't able to see it, I can't pass judgement. I know people are down on Murray for not contributing enough, but I swear I heard more than a few times..."what a beautiful setup by Murray." Zajac wasn't able to cash in on some excellent opportunities. The loss last night sounded like a great game. This would be the ideal time to start burying the puck. As long as we finish well, I have faith in the team. All winning teams have stories of crumby beginnings and rocky roads. The key is to battle through it. Remember...80% of success comes from having the right attitude. Only 5% is talent.

Assuming we're making lines for next year.... There is no way they'll put two Freshmen together. Probably if Greene stays he'll be paired with Lee, OFD CHD...Chorney with Jones DFD CHD... What do I know...but I think pairing two freshmen up is pretty risky. Jonathan could be an impact freshmen, but I'm looking at the speedy BCHLers. We need more team speed and less puck dumping.

So Friday and Saturday on FSSN?? Or just Friday? I'd love it if it were friday, I'd be able to watch it live rather than TiVo.

I can say after watching CC manhandle the Goofers today and hearing how UND cannot sweep Mankato, CC will be beat the S&*T out of the Sioux in Colorado next week. It could get ugly out there in CC for UND! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Its hardly rock bottom. We will make the NCAA's and then anything can happen. Theres a lot of hockey left, and we're not in bad shape. UMD...they're in bad shape. Rebound next weekend at CC, at least take 2. It's not the end of the world for all you Apocalyptic, worst case scenario people.

One thing I think UND does need to work on is holding a lead. Like Matt Greene mentioned, the most important shifts during a game are those after a goal. We seem to get scored on quite a bit after scoring. That doesn't mean sit back and shell up, but they are having some troubles. The other aspects of their game are coming together well, I think.

Bullseye...working at the "other" radio station in GF today...KCNN and NFL. Found a radio that I can listen to Hennessy on.

Is there something special I have to do for the MSU feed. The link that says "Click here to listen" doesn't work. I am really sorry for bugging people, but I have the capability to listen and somethings not working. Any input is greatly appreciated...otherwise keep the updates coming.

UND or MSU?? I have checked many times...not sure what the problem is. The MSU page just comes up with an error. The UND feed loads but will not buffer, says there is an error connecting to server.

Ok, Im a little concerned now. The game is starting in three mins and I can't get either feed. The UND one is still not working, and the MSU page will not even load. I know nobody knows what is going on. Is anyone able to post updates? I'm freakin out here!! At work with no local TV access, was counting on web radio. I need help!

Are we getting TH tonight? Or do we have to settle for MSU audiocasters? So far, in the pre-game and I'm getting nothing.

Flyer, Why do you feel the need to mock and cut down the posters on this board. Almost every post I've seen of yours has been either cynical or anti-whatever the thread is about. I realize everyone has their faults and it's not fun to agree with everything, but its not fun reading your criticism of everything here. There are other sites for that. Anyway, Gretzky is and was amazing and it would be a huge honor to meet him...an honor I almost accomplished. He holds 62 NHL records and if you paruse them, a few of them will never be even close to touched in the modern game. One of these is 92 goals 212 (I think) points in one season, 50 goals in 39 games, and the fact that he has more assists than any player has points. For that matter, it would be an honor to meet any NHL'er. Aside from UND players moving to the pros I haven't been able to do that.

Its crazy to think how about 5 or 6 months ago we were all writing him off to major juniors (and for good reason). I don't know much about this guy, but from what people have said, he's a good catch. If it ends up happening it sure gives those naysayers (about Berry and Hakstol's recruiting abilities) a reason to shut up. I can't find Shattuck's stats page, and don't know too much about him aside from the fact that Heisenberg reported him being 2" shorter than Shattuck did. He's listed at 6' 1", and on Heisenberg 5' 11". A good talent I'm sure; anyone else have some insights.

I don't have too much of a problem with the music. Although I would prefer the stripped down atmosphere of ye olde ralph. What I do have a problem with is all the crap that has no business at a hockey game. Dave Matthews has no business at a hockey game. I don't care if you like him as an artist, it is hardly motivational music. There are others too. I also don't like games and things during the periods for the fans, that take away from the play on the ice. Like dance contests or clothes changing contests...Keep them in intermissions. The crowd at REA has enough trouble getting into non-explosive games. I don't rant so often, but we can call it the Airing of Grievances...part of the miracle that is Festivus!! Those of you who know what it is understand.

Stafford did score. The second goal of the game, I believe. 1-2-3 effort is pretty impressive, and he CLEARLY had some chemistry going with Murray. They were fun to watch against a sluggish UMD defense.
