Seriously, imagine a Frozen Four with Parise, McKee, Schneider, and Elliot.... WOW Too bad one of them has to go home. How's Maine's goaltending??
-
So is this a tournament of goaltenders or what???!!!!
-
True on the quality, but from what I hear this is leaps and bounds better than dataflix....I think that's who UND contracts. I keep it fairly small, and can usually tell who has the puck, even though the puck itself is pretty hard to see.
-
Yeah, I didn't want to give the score in case that was what you were watching. There's about 5 mins left in 3rd though, that should give you an idea of how far ahead we are. The webcast is FLAWLESS! Not even a buffer in the last hour.
-
Sweeny, you must be watching the FSN TV feed? This game is deadlocked, but no PP here.
-
According to that stat they must be.... I don't know. Too lazy to look it up. Watching deadlocked hockey here.

If that 3-6-3 record against BC is right, I'm kind of surprised. I've seen 3 wins for sure, and I assumed there were more. Maybe not. Oh well. The boys need to add one more against the flying rodents to hang another banner.
-
My father is the artist who painted that. I have one hanging in front of me now. I can sure inquire, if you are looking for one. Let me know!

That's a mild shocker to me. I know CCHA was over rated this year, but Mich State looked very good through out the year. I thought they might do some damage in the tourney. Props to Maine. I was also hoping for Mich St. and Cornell to make it a regional with all 4 teams from different conferences. How would that be for a change from last year? Oh well, I like whomever comes out from the UND/BC game. Both teams are really firing on all cylinders right now. It'll be a war on Thursday the 6th.
-
How about this.... CONGRATULATIONS!!...and...I'm sorry
-
So, um are we forgetting Scott Parse and Andy Greene?? In my opinion the CCHA was SO GOOD this year, they should get some MAJOR consideration!
-
While HC played like a team with nothing to lose, UND did more standing around than they maybe should have. What kicked the team into motion tonight were Crusader goals. Maybe a *tiny* emotional drop from the high they left with Mich. However, they scored when they needed to, competed hard, and most importantly GOT THE JOB DONE! I'm hoping to see the onslaught that they brought against Michigan for the BC game...they'll need it.

That sounds painfully familiar...

Yeah, got her on replay here, and it's definately Oshie. Quite the compliment from Wooger, but I suppose it makes sense because Osh is a Minnesota boy.

Nothing about 9 National Championships says mediocre. Plus they have one of the winningest coaches in NCAA history. And an extremely talented corps. of freshmen. Too bad they'll be watching the rest of the tourney from Ann Arbor. My highlight of the game (one of many) was Parise's stack of the pads in the 3rd, where he got the GLOVE on the puck. Almost like he knew he would catch it. He didn't have to be great, but he sure was. Plus, Oshie in the 3rd (and maybe the game) had more zip than anyone out there. I LOVE how he just strips the puck away from anyone and everyone...no matter who the player is. He just refuses to give it up...unless it's a pass to member of the Fighting Sioux from North Dakota U!!! Edit: PS...Fargosioux, your sig made me laugh!! Take that Potulny (2g>0p in head to head action).
-
Even WOOG said "Oshie is my favorite Freshman in the nation". There MAY be better guys, but nobody brings it like him.... NOBODY!!
-
Those of us who get FSNN will be treated tomorrow to BSU/UW!!!!! Edit: AND CC/CORNELL!! I just saw that on my ReplayTV. I'll be watching that before work tomorrow. Anyone know where in GF to watch tomorrow night's game if you get off work at 9??
-
Yeap...looks like the CCHA couldn't take the Beanpot like UND did last year....and everyone in the East gets their BC/BU regional final. I'll take UND/Holy Cross any day!
-
A VERY well played 60 mins of hockey. I thought UND started to sit back in the 2nd, but they really turned it on towards the end of that period. It is just so fun to see a team play like that. They were FULL OF ENERGY!!!! I got the game recorded, and that's going towards the collection. I'm actually disappointed UND doesn't get the other M school. It would've been a really fun game to watch. OH well.... BRING ON THE GOPHERS CRUSADERS!!
-
Haha...I'm sorry, but I was in Bismarck drinking green beer at BWW and watching the Wisco game. I didn't record that one. HOWEVER, I'll be recording every game they're in from here on out, so stay tuned. Maybe someone else got that one?

The one problem/difference between RP and Bo is that Bo was signed before the new CBA went into effect. Now that it is signed and done, rookie contracts took a MAJOR hit. Bo had a choice, and got lucky with such a big offer. However, even with the new CBA it would be wise for players to leave early because after they are out of eligibility their bargaining power still drops.

As much as I hate the dynamic duo.... Potulny could make the NHL in much the same way as Bochenski did. He wasn't, and still isn't that great of a skater. However, after lighting up the AHL, you can't argue with that shot. I think the same could work for Potulny, if he puts in the effort.

My intramural team played the law school this year, and I'd say they're pretty solid talent-wise. The game was back and forth but they have a bunch of snipers who can pick corners well. Most of them can skate, some very well, some not as well. As YaneA said, about a handful of them are pretty friggin good. I know nothing of the med school team, but I'll guarentee the law school wins the series.

Lets not forget that J Parise has something to prove himself! Last year he carried the team a long way, of course with the help of a strong UND team. Two years ago, same deal, couldn't find it against DU....not really his fault. HOWEVER, one measuring stick of teams (and goaltenders) is their ability to finish out a season. I remember a lot of people mentioning that a championship was the one thing keeping them from putting Parise in the top 3 UND goalies of all time! You know he remembers the last couple years. While those games were obviously not his fault, he has to be motivated just like the rest of the team. Parise will be ready, he's a wizard in the playoffs. Anyone that was on the teams from the last two years wants desperately to continue winning, and the freshmen are playing so mature right now. It's gonna be great hockey to watch.

Espo didn't diss him, he just overexaggerated Lapanta's name. Like a parent would, or an older brother.... Thanks Aaanthoneeeeeeee!
