MN cycling well, but generating no shots. AF is definitely playing more vertical, and generating more shots as a result. They need to watch for trailers though. There have been guys open.
-
Awesome! They give MN 0 scoring chances in 1st!

AF looks pretty quick out there. I don't really care who wins as long as the game is fun to watch. So far, it has been an up and down affair. UAF is skating hard, and winning the loose puck races. We'll see if that continues... P2 underway. AF ALMOST POTS ANOTHER 15 seconds in!!

I got my pregame on by watching a DVR'd version of UND-Michigan from 06. I must have watched Stafford's shorty 17 times...at least. His smile after that shot gives me shivers! 4 hours...
-
Alright, I read that here too, but I get nervous...you know? Want to know if I have to drive before the day-of.
-
So if I live in Fargo and have Cable One, will channel 44 (which normally pulls these games) have the signal. I know it's a dumb question given the list on that link. However, I need to know if I have to drive to GF to watch it.

I like that idea...just don't tell the other 3 teams who make the FF.
-
Unfortunately, that's a bad idea. It messes with your brain. The audio is a second or two ahead of the video. I like listening to him too...but I agree with Sieve...MUST SEE TV!

That Clark guy from UAA would be a good pickup for UM...small and quick. ALSO not afraid to lay a lick, like maybe on a potential teammate (in this situation) named Kyle?
-
Plus, what does asking the Gopher fans who they think should be their go-to guy have to do with the rematch? Really, maybe some of us would like to know what they think about the situation. This is especially the case because UND recently had the rotation and it was sandwiched between Phil and Karl. Interesting concept, and I do want to know what others think about it. NOT because I expect a rematch or want to know who we could be facing.

That was actually in response to Irmen's jersey pop at the Ralph. Maybe it's tolerable in front of the home crowd, but in someone else's building it is definitely not classy. However, that rush of emotions Wheeler got when the crowd roared, and the fact that he didn't expect anything, probably lead to the excessive celebration. It's understandable, he probably had to restrain himself from ripping all his gear off and skating around in his jock. Knocking on Phil for the glove thing is just ridiculous, given that we can generate all kinds of valid reasons for it.

I'm sure he still has nightmares about no defense and the massive UND offense from a couple weeks ago.
-
And clearly we're not a one-man-band, like UM last year either. I so wish I was watching now. Work hasn't picked up yet, so I can be on here at least. PS, you guys all rock!
-
Now we don't want the Husky semifinal team from last year... an 8-7 barnburner against UM. Let's show the Huskies how to stop the puck.
-
I don't know if it's the pressure. Hockey's a team game...and St. Cloud's reached their goal quota.
-
Just to clarify... that should be 5-2 right? Edit: Thanks

VV IS a youngster... and now maybe one that has found his sea legs!!!

I watched 10 mins of the first at BWW, and now I have to work again. PLEASE keep the updates coming! Keep it up Sioux!

Haven't you ever seen Miracle? Apparently Jack O'Callahan played college hockey to win a National Championship.

No way, I don't believe in coincidence... haven't you read The Secret

And...IIRC, this has worked in the past... http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?sh...388&hl=dear

Ryan Miller wasn't a senior.

In that same article, INCH picked Minnesota to take the F5 title. I don't know if I see that happening, but I could be wrong. It might be another meaningless game to them? It makes sense to play hard though, because if they don't they open the door for another team to at least gain a solid lock on their seeding with a F5 title. Like Denver or UND perhaps.

Plus, I don't know if anybody is excited about having to be the team to end Wisconsin's season. Defending champions, and this is their last chance to make the big dance (their only chance)!! Plus, as you said, they tend to play well at the Ralph lately, and have Elliot. I think Tech will come to GF, and it'll be a fun weekend. Should help UND in Pairwise, correcting the two losses we already have to MTU.
