So will he have 3 years of eligibility plus an available redshirt?

Ahh.... beautiful towers of beer.

I know Ground Round usually picked up the webcasts when they were available. I'd call around..... them and maybe some of the local places like Wild Hog, Whiteys, etc. Edit: And apparently Rumors.

From what I've read Alaska has fund reserves of around $40 Billion while North Dakota's are closer to $3 Billion. We're not quite on par with Alaska because most of North Dakota's land/mineral rights are owned by corporations/private citizens, whereas Alaska's were in large part owned by the government. It'd be nice to drop taxes and get a rebate check, but I wouldn't expect it unless you move to Alaska. Also, I believe they still pay property taxes in Alaska, I remember the news saying North Dakota would be the first state to drop property taxes had Measure 2 passed.

PDF page 77 (report page 57) shows overall funding and page 75 (55) shows funding from the general fund. http://www.nd.gov/fi...mary2013-15.pdf This site includes past budgets (those proposed by the governor and approved by the legislature both). http://www.nd.gov/fiscal/budget/state/ Edit: Looking at those numbers, Higher Ed funding from the general fund increased nearly 70% from the 2005-07 biennium to the 2011-13 biennium (21% increase for 07-09, 27% increase for 09-11, and an 11% increase for 11-13). The governor proposed a biennial general fund increase of nearly 40% for the 2013-15 biennium. This results in an increase in funding from the general fund of nearly 136% since the 2005-07 biennium. However, I'd expect the legislature to trim this biennium's proposed increase by quite a bit. Total funding for Higher Ed increased about 40% from the 2005-07 biennium to the 2009-11 biennium (12% increase for 07-09 and a 26% increase for 09-11), but then actually dropped 4% in the 2011-13 biennium. I'd guess the drop was probably due to fewer/cheaper capital projects, but I don't know. The governor's proposed 2013-15 budget is an increase of 37% in total funding over the 2011-13 approved budget.

It probably should be sliced and diced. - The proposed new Higher Ed funding model suggests funding should be based on credits completed at each institution. How will next semester's funding be awarded when they don't know how many credits will be completed at each institution next semester? Think there's fraud in the reporting of enrollment/credit numbers now?? Just wait until the funding model is based on reported credits completed. - $30 million to create Education Challenge?? Why would tax $$ go towards philanthropy? Is that even constitutional in ND? It wouldn't be the first time an unconstitutional law was passed. - $13 million for a new library at BSC?? To be used by who? Serious question regarding the funding of all these capital projects, why are some buildings (UND's Gamble Hall/Business School) required to secure donations to build/expand and others just get the money from the state? - $12 million to create Research ND?? Most of the Centers of Excellence are failing/have failed and are only operating thanks to state $$ support, so let's change the name of the program and throw more money at it? - $62 million for housing development incentives?? Housing prices in North Dakota are at an all-time high, if that's not enough incentive I don't know what is. I was under the impression they already admitted this didn't do anything to stimulate housing when they tried it 2 years ago. It just thickened the lining of the pockets of the housing developers who were already building. If I'm way off-base with any of these please correct me, as I'd love to feel better about the OMB/Governor's Office proposal.

Was that South Dakota State's problem too?? The east coast went to bed instead of staying up to watch some great SUMMITMVFC football.
-
I think they provided revenue guarantees up to $500k. I have no idea whether they've had to make any payments on it or not.
-
It appears this only includes state $$ and not all of the incentives paid by individual cities/counties. The number would be much larger if that were the case. In fact, it doesn't even appear to include all the state $$, as I don't see anything regarding the Centers of Excellence (Centers of Mediocrity). Those are quite the state government boondoggle, with only a couple of them actually becoming self-supporting.

Just shows that the Goofs are dirty/cheap no matter who they're playing against....

Sweet pic of your #1 DB at BSA wearing a UND shirt.....

AP had 21 carries for 210 yards and they still chose to try to throw the ball whenever they got into the red zone. Dumb playcalling. As much as I enjoy having the Queens lose, it's gotten hard to watch at times. Feed that man (AP) the ball!!

And a rivalry was born.....

It's a very nice hotel that does run shuttles to the X. I've always seen a lot of Sioux fans stay there in the past (although I think there are probably a lot of Sioux fans at every dt St. Paul hotel that weekend). I've walked it many times though and it's not bad (I'd guess maybe 15-20 minutes??). There will be a lot of people making that walk that weekend. Looking online it appears to be booked full, but maybe something will open up as it gets closer to March.... I'd call in and get on a waiting list.

There is a difference between saying someone played poorly and saying someone is a poor player. As has been said multiple times, the reason people point out Huff is because they see his athletic potential and how great of a player he could be and they wish he would consistently be that player.

Of course the story would be different had Colorado St become a good football team by the end of the season.....

Footprint can be sacrificed for media potential I guess.

Are New Mexico St and Idaho St the last 2 now? Or who else is left in the WAC?

Here's Nebraska-Omaha's chance to go to the Big East

If NDSU or SDSU make it that year....

I think you're confusing Millers (K vs RB).
-
I think it would be really nice if UND could win the appeal for Nash's eligibility (I've read they're appealing the decision).
-
There is no begging going on, just anger on both sides. If you're too stupid to realize that then I guess you're not worth my time trying to convince.
-
Look at UND's attendance for games against teams not named Minnesota. I think we do just fine. Most gopher hockey fans I know of are upset that Minnesota is killing the rivalry.
-
After thinking about it more, I don't necessarily have a problem with UND going for the 4th and 1. However, I do have a problem with running the ball up the middle against a stacked box with a running back who weighs 170 pounds soaking wet. I also didn't like the bomb on 3rd and 1 if the plan was to go for it on 4th should the bomb fail. I realize hindsight is 20-20, but I think putting in Hendrickson on the 4th and 1 play could've added a different dimension that would make defending 1 yard more difficult.
