Not gonna touch most of this conversation, but I have several friends who were not allowed to vote in the primaries because they are students/recent grads and still had their parents' address on their ID. Others had a former address, as most students don't reside at the same location for long. Have a Bismarck address but currently reside in Fargo/Grand Forks, sorry, you aren't allowed to vote. Have a north Fargo address but currently reside in south Fargo, sorry, you need to drive 20 minutes north to vote. The voter ID law in ND is purely there to discourage/block college students from voting, as we all know a majority of them support a certain minority party.

Although their food is decent, the service at the Tavern in the Canad makes me want to add them to the list.

HuHot in Bismarck is always getting written up for health code violations. It certainly does "feel" cleaner than the average buffet though.

Also, the Governor will be choosing from 3 students (ALL from ndsu) to take the next student representative spot (currently held by Devils Lake/Mayville). If approved by the Senate, this will make 4/8 board members from Fargo. Other members are from Grand Forks (1), Bismarck (1), Minot (1), and Tioga (1). Interesting......
