Even lower than Flying J? Maybe all the talk of boycotting Simonson's finally turned into people actually boycotting Simonson's.

http://www.uscho.com/from-the-press-box/2016/01/18/call-interference-on-prolonged-dump-and-chase-contact-officials-reminded/ Uscho article about the ncaa rules committee sending a reminder to refs on enforcement of interference rules when a player dumps a puck in the zone and is then held up by the d-man. Seems it may tie in with the conversation here on refs and low scoring on the wcha.

Telling those people to go be fans of UND's rival isn't the answer. Time will ebb at the no nickname crowd. Allow it to work. As iluvdebbies said, the booing and Sioux forever chants are already showing signs of losing steam.

Enough of this garbage.

Does Schafer have final say over which firm is selected? Or has another committee been formed?

http://www.oregonlive.com/collegefootball/index.ssf/2016/01/portland_state_freshman_lineba.html PSU freshman LB dies of complications from minor surgery to remove tonsils. Thoughts with Vikings team, fans, and family.

Duluth is part of the University of Minnesota system rather than the Minnesota State system. I believe the Duluth president/chancellor answers to the president of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Can't imagine them allowing Duluth to move football to D1.

UND Fighting Hawks vs. UNO Mavericks - SATURDAY Gameday
UNDBIZ replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
Not sure how bad the streaming picture is, but the picture seems darker than usual on midco as well -
Wilmer was much less talented but was effective on defense and the boards in his later years.

With that said, the University Place apartments aren't bad looking. The Wilkerson complex (including connected dormitories) is bad, the Chester Fritz auditorium is ugly, and the new medical school building looks like a corporate office structure. It seems they've made some attempts to keep central campus with a collegiate gothic style (renovations of O'Kelly, law school, etc.), and the rest of campus is free to go nuts.
-
It was an ugly building before, and it's still an ugly building after the remodel. The facade after the remodel is very trendy looking, which means it is going to look like absolute garbage in about 10-15 years.
-
I do wish the newer construction (anything in the last 50 years) had stuck with more of a collegiate gothic style of architecture.

Not sure it's ever been available on this site. But here's the link on the undsports.com site. http://www.undsports.com//PhotoAlbum_Archives.dbml?ATCLID=210296811&DB_LANG=C&&DB_OEM_ID=13500&SPID=6399&SPSID=58640

Hmm. Perhaps it's an "academic/needs-based" scholarship? I dunno. http://www.scout.com/college/football/recruiting/story/1632176-hunt-talks-valpo-offer-und-commitment

PWO commit Devan Hunt (OL) received a scholarship offer from Valparaiso. May lose him.

Did they finish the season still on the team? I thought I remembered hearing they had quit early on.

And by losing every year, we've been able to provide a lot of t-shirts to starving children in Africa.

https://sayanythingblog.com/entry/und-president-applications/ Looks like the applicants (2 of the 3 anyway) who withdrew from the UND presidential search weren't real quality candidates anyway. Still tough to say how many quality applicants didn't apply from the start due to knowing what our state open records laws are.

Oh come on, everybody knows Senator Hoeven buries an extra 50 million barrels of oil in the Bakken for every championship ndsu wins.

Did you just say "man” instead of “person”?! When women are just as capable of fixing thread titles as anyone?! Woo! Woo! Woo! You hear that?! That’s the sound of 2015 pulling you over, people!

The defections title was my fault. The thread title is now changed.

The rumored player defections stuff has been moved to

He's been the LBs coach for the past couple seasons, but it appears the DBs were good under his direction prior to that move. http://www.siusalukis.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/stepps_travis00.html
