  1. You're going to be angry with me Vince, but I'd like to see the building demolished and a collegiate gothic style building put up in its place.
  2. Even if that was the only reason, it would be enough. The College of Business is an oft-neglected cash cow for UND. Gamble Hall is used by multiple colleges due to its large amphitheater style classrooms, so it's an important facility to the entire campus as most students will take a class there. It's time to make it a jewel on campus, in the opinion of UNDBIZ.
  3. Received a survey today via email regarding what I'd like to see prioritized in a new College of Business facility.....
  4. But he doesn't address that issue as he leaves the B1G alone. The only schools he wants to make sacrifices for the "betterment of college hockey" are UND and Denver.
  5. If they were to go NCAA D3, could they play D1 hockey? I was under the impression the current D3 schools playing D1 hockey were grandfathered in, but now you must be at least D2 to start D1 hockey.
  6. Economic impact for Valley City and Mayville......
  7. Ladue or LJ by would appear to be the 2 options.
  8. My guess is Ausmus keeps the C and Poolman, Schmaltz, and Pogs get As. I'm assuming Ladue is gone.

  10. Judging by the attendance at the U18 tourney (going to lose REA, and by transitive property UND, a lot of money) and the huge financial black hole UND women's hockey is, Grand Forks is UND men's college hockey town USA.

Sioux football insider. It's a blog and they also have a twitter. http://siouxfb.areavoices.com/
  12. Which is why studio 1, music therapy, and other programs are being reduced/removed.
  13. About $750-800,000
  14. It's a 2 year college. It's just economic development for Bottineau.
  15. Foreign students also require additional paperwork, monitoring, and student services.
  16. I believe I remember seeing/hearing aviation had good, relatively cheap production capabilities that were used by other departments rather than studio one.
  17. Not least of all, in order to protect the players' injuries from being targeted by opponents.

  19. Must have. It was Fruity Pebbles with non-GMO whole milk.
  20. University as a whole. Though the $10 million number may be a bit low.
  21. http://ndsuspectrum.com/racists-suck/ Yes, UND fans make the state look awful.....
  22. Which one was that?
  23. One reason UND is hit a bit a harder than other schools is the new med school building. They aren't reducing any costs for the building, so UND has to cut an extra $2.5 million beyond what it normally would from operating. Hopefully Schafer is able to lead UND to make appropriate cuts and we come out of this a stronger more efficient university. Thus far I'm not hearing about cuts to administration, which is disappointing.
  24. That was projected revenue from August 2014. Actual revenue will be closer to $6 billion. Next budget cycle it will be much worse unless oil recovers. The UND budget reductions are due to the school letting it's own budget get completely out of control. Not having a president for the last 5 years probably hasn't helped.
