Would be nice, but an above ground pipeline may as well have a target painted on it.

Let's get back on track here. This thread is for discussion of the protest and pipeline.

http://m.bismarcktribune.com/news/local/mandan/police-report-multiple-instances-of-shots-fired/article_e6819cc3-1f2d-5d5f-9b63-92dcf2c2492b.html One shooting was a random citizen firing at protesters, apparently after being ran off the road by them. He hit a peaceful water protector, who also had a gun, in the hand. Second shooting was peaceful water protector firing on police. She fired 3 shots, but fortunately missed on all 3. Incredible restraint by law enforcement not to fire back.

Shooting reported near protest site. Law enforcement not involved. Protesters turning on each other?

Prairie Knights south of Mandan.

Peaceful protest.

Also, can't remember where, but saw in a previous report Standing Rock is estimating loss of casino revenue at $1 million. This protest is going to cause much more long term damage to Standing Rock than the pipeline would have.

http://m.bismarcktribune.com/news/state-and-regional/north-camp-cleared/article_06a978e2-1485-5450-b3fe-13ce519fd15f.html Authorities have cleared the camp set up on private land and pushed the protesters back to the main camp on federal land. Sounds like a group of them were able to loop around and set some construction equipment on fire. Some arrests but no major injuries reported. All in all its looking like a pretty successful day for rule of law.

Alaska fans (some sound like employees of the team) on the uscho forums don't appear to think so. Could be wrong though.

Waiver 'request' sent to NCAA. Needs to be approved.

Pretty much all of them (other than UND's Mismash) are committed to B1G or Hockey East schools. Any concerns there or is the NTDP just down this year?

Appears Hessenflow came on as a school-start walk-on.

Travel hockey at age 10 is 70% keeping up with the Joneses, 20% drinking/hanging with the other parents, and 10% making the kid happy/perception of giving greater opportunity. It's also about 97% built on credit card debt.

This is it, the time has come, Santiago busts a 50+ yard TD in this game.

He played in at least one game this year though, so wouldn't he need the medical RS?
-
Started at UND in 2000-01, year after we won the natty. Was coaching in the USHL prior to that and I don't think he ever made the playoffs. Won a lot of conference championships with UND, obviously.

This thread probably isn't completely clean, but most of the DaveK vs the world stuff has been moved to

He was a true freshman last year, right?
