Was in southwest Nodak hunting pheasants and did pretty well. Now in DL to hunt waterfowl and hoping it cools down a bit. I did see some guys I know that did well up here this weekend so I hope that is the case for us.

My brother and i will be there. I have been up here hunting since Friday and ending my trip with the game. I hope it is packed, loud and I am smiling on the drive back to colorado on sunday!

We survived the trap game. I was sort of worried about this one. Today was really sloppy so I anticipate a good week of practice. See y'all at the Weber game!

I had to make a couple posts today. There are is one Montana guy in particular that for some reason seems to have an axe to grind with UND. The reality is they play EWU, we dont. However, we actually played a decent OOC schedule. They played a crap OOC schedule and UNI is not a good team this year so that argument doesn't hold water to me.

Over on AGS I see there is some angst from some Montana fans due to UND's success thus far. Sort of entertaining!

I thought Flowers filled in for Reyes quite well. If Cole is not 100% hold him out because we will need him against Weber. Same goes for Taj Rich as he will also be needed against Weber.

WTF. You can't tell me that sustaining 21 sports is the best option. There are also sports that need more funding: Football, W&M basketball, W Volleyball to name a few. If they are going to take $1.5M from the W Hockey budget then I am listening but God forbid we mess with Womens Hockey.

UNi is being judged based on the past and this is garbage. The only team that remotely deserves that right is NDSU...5 strait Nattys will do that. UNi plays Missery State this week, they will win and I am sure they will rocket up the polls. Pathetic.

I thought the hawk screech sounded really cool on TV. I hope they refine it and keep it.

I have always liked how respectful Bubba has been when the game is on our hands, but I think it might be time to just start hanging points on teams if they are going to run pointless plays with under 25 seconds and down 22.

I liked the screech as well. Shows the Al is at least trying, which is nice to see.

FWIW in the post game presser Toivenen hinted that Stanley's injury was not serious.

I had major issues for a while and I did report it to NCHC and UND. They did seem to fix it but this isnt worth the season pass i bought so they better figure it out.

You are on the money here but point #5 really stood out to me. I watched the safeties a bit closer yesterday and I thought Flowers played really well. Palmborg can clean up his game a bit but they did well in place of Reyes.
