If we don't have two competent nose guards, I am not sure we should be in a 3-4. To play a 3-4 scheme effectively you need a dominate nose guard to eat up multiple blockers. This really concerns me right now. I am a fan of the 3-4 scheme but if we do not have the NG then we need to be in a true 4-3. The question is, will we adapt?

There might not have been. I remember debates about it as well as the general boondoggle. I was for it though because parking on campus has always been tough.

I see, that makes sense. Is the schedule posted? I just went to the main website and only the non conference games are posted. Unless we can get another crappy D1 team to come in to the Al. I would go for that.

I hope someone else is brought in to compete but it was nice to see him go 3 for 3 on Saturday with the long one at 43. I suppose that was the one bright spot on Saturday.
