That is great to hear! I talked my brother in Devils Lake (who is traditionally a hockey only fan) into going to the Southern Utah game when I am up there in early November.

We are talking about 2012, not past seasons. We are 3-1 and we won the games we were supposed to up to this point. I have a problem with a 1-3 team in the top 15. So who have they played: Youngstown is a great team this year. Wisconsin is average, not the Wisconsin of recent years. Iowa is bad and there is no way to spin that. Wasn't their win against a d2 team? I do think UNI is a decent team, but not a top 15 team by any stretch, at least right now. Also, defensive is the wrong word. I believe the word I would use is annoyed because you are on a UND site spewing MVFC rhetoric.

You are right, winning will take care of itself. But in regards to UNI, I thought moral victories don't count? We have been told many times by fans of other teams (cough, cough) that moral victories don't count in polls. For example, our near miss at Fresno last year shouldn't have gotten us in because those were NDSU votes. All I am saying is that it is funny that we got grilled for it and now certain fans have nothing to say about 1-3 UNI at #13 in the sports network poll...

Doug Fullerton has to be smiling...Not only are we competitive on the football field, but we are keeping up the pace as a top public research institution. This is huge!

The extra week has to help Hanson. Marcus has been great but I agree, Hanson is something special and needs to see the field. If Hanson takes a dump we can always go back to Marcus; competition is a good thing.

I would like to move on but there is one problem with that...Bison fans will follow us wherever we go. In the past this was a theory but since we have moved to the Big Sky it has become a fact. It doesn't matter if UND is talked about here, AGS, or ESPN, Bison fans have been following and always feel the need to interrupt good conversation with smack or propaganda. If you don't believe me go to the ESPN Scoreboard and click on the conversation button under the UND / Sac State scoreboard. Also go to AGS and click on the Big Sky power rankings thread, or any other threat thread that mentions UND in the title. *There are some great Bison fans out there but the trolls always seem to steal the spotlight.
