Ha exactly, I remember the scene in class when the ball gets knocked out and they all go after it!
-
He needs to carry the ball everywhere he goes this week: Class, lunch, restroom. I mean everywhere! His teammates need to try to knock i out every time they see him.
-
That was ugly. Complete 180 of what I watched last weekend. I feel that next weekend will be rough.

Also, I caught some of the VB game on tuesday night via eversport and it worked pretty well. FWIW

I didn't make a prediction for the WYO game so I will do the same here. Go Sioux!
-
I noticed this as well. Seems the jerseys are a bit small in the shoulder.
-
I thought they looked great in person. Looking forward to seeing the greens this weekend.

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton Conversation
UNDColorado replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in NCAA News
The gap between the MAC and Big Sky is not as large as you would like it to be. Sorry. I understand you are a fan of a bad FBS team but the reality is the G5 has nothing on the P5 and that gap will continue to widen. UND & NDSU offering FCOA in all sports is looking a lot more comparable to the G5 than the G5 is to the P5. http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances/ -
I was at the game and am still smiling from ear to ear. Here are some thoughts since many weren't able to see it. Oline was impressive. The strength of Wyo was said to be their D line. UND pushed them around and created some huge holes. Seriously this group is much improved. Santiago- Holy sh!t is this kid going to be good! Very quick around the edges and he ran well between the tackles. The juke he made on his short TD run was amazing. The crown reaction was great. We have something special here. (Norberg also looked good and made some key rushes) Linbackers- These boys are mean and looking to improve from last year. Really fun to watch. Sack city is back baby! D line- 41 yards rushing allowed. Enough said. Greer is a monster. Receivers- They caught most of the balls that came their way. This was a big improvement over last year and was great to see. Studsrud- Played with good poise. Best part was he made no major mistakes. He was able to elude pressure a couple times when needed and ran the ball well. His run up the gut TD was awesome. Special teams coverage could use some work. This is fixable. Sunday morning and i'm still jacked!

Yup, I will never be mad if he throws a few balls away, rather than forcing them.
-
Anyone know if the team is flying out tonight or tomorrow?
-
Correct. I also noticed that the Montana State game will not be streamed because it appears the game is on Altitude tonight.
-
Here is the new link: http://eversport.tv/big-sky/football Just like Big Sky TV all games held in a bigsky conf stadium will be streamed. Free like recent years.
-
He is a Montana State guy after all. A lot of us weren't exactly thrilled when NDSU offered this. I do like his website as he does a good job covering the Big Sky.

I believe swimming & diving will be the first sport on the chopping block. No offense to these athletes but I can't imagine thee sport brings a lot to the university. As someone pointed out above you dont have to worry much about title 9 here because both men and women will be cut. The pool is also aging and would need a lot of money to upgrade or build new.
-
I agree. But there may be a way to do this without covering every single sport we have. For example: Football and mens basketball need to be covered. Let's say thats 80 mens scholarships. Then you give the matching 80 to womens bbal, VB, soccer, etc. Really just equal it out. Technically this doesn't necessarily mean that all sports will receive this.

Great news! Who in the Big Sky or MVFC is next? (I assume USD and SDSU will follow suit)
-
I recently read the spread was 14. That could have changed though.

Have you ever played football? Ankle tackles happen all the time. Ideally you would like to square up, roll the hips and put the opponent on his back. In a fast paced game players are often out of position and when that happens you tackle them any way you can legally. Here is the problem I have your rationale: If you play a guy who has a bum ankle and he is tackled by his ankle it is not targeting. Not one bit. Are you trying to tell me that since Wentz injured his ankle, we cant tackle him by the ankle?
-
Really, what posts? Posts responding to a moron troll who isn't insightful enough understand context? Not one person here is advocating taking cheap shots. Fact: When a player plays injured he/she is increasing the likelihood of further aggravating said injury. So if Wentz plays and re-injures it you can blame your coaches and training staff because every opposing team you play will be going after him regardless of his health.
-
Further injuring an injury is the risk any player takes when playing injured. I don't understand what the problem is.
