This whole situation rubs me the wrong way. Given the political and media attention toward guns over the last 5 years my only conclusion is that this is her far left agenda. This behavior is right out of anti gun group playbooks. You can't tell me that faculty is not aware that ROTC regularly engages in these activities. This has been going on for a long time. Until she provides her NRA membership ID number I will think this way because this crap has infiltrated universities all over the country. These days ideology is being taught over actual facts and I didn't think this was going on at UND until now. Edit- I am taking my concealed Carry class this Sunday and I am damn proud of it.

I agree in that ASU would be the natural short term solution. Conference realignment seems to never stop so UND could possibly be in a tough situation down the road if other B1G schools would add hockey. But if they call, we have to at least answer and have a conversation.

Keep in mind that there was not a lot to play for. This is not an excuse but it is a reality. It is hard to get up for games against team you have played five times each, when you already know you will be a top seed in your regional next weekend. I also bet Ladue would have played Saturday if this was a Regional game. I noticed a lack of urgency last weekend. I would be willing to be we do not see that this Friday.

There is also a Dieharddogs twitter handle that has been very loud this week.

Last night my Dad and I were talking about the games this weekend and he said the exact same thing. If Cam plays to his potential the odds are in our favor. In the mean time let the east coast media and fans talk a big game. The letdown will be that much sweeter.
