I agree way too many things going on behind the curtain, Berry should resign and save the precious culture he raves about.

With all the injuries maybe Berry is hedging his bets and making sure we will have a full roster.

You maybe right even Brad isn’t bringing it up , he would have at least said upper or lower body.

Maybe Berry big enough to realize that the program an culture is bigger then his ego and he needs to make some changes, time will tell.

Taylor ward in Omaha has 21 points as a freshman , our leading scorer has 19. What would Ward have if he was wearing a Hawks jersey? I bet he wouldn’t have half that many.

I don’t think you could have made the CBS line dump and chase and cycle the puck, you can have your own opinion but 2.5 years says different.

Good example maybe it’s not the players but the restraints put on the by Berry’s coaching, seems like D men flourish but forwards flounder, the offense should not always start at the blue line. Berry is in love with grinders on the front line , ie Simonson-Olson- Smith last year and Gardner this year, they have their place just not top six.

Kawaguchi and Weatherby tore up the BCHL and yes I know it’s not as tough A league as the USHL but please those guys should be able to score ten goals and put 25-30 points up, something is rotten in the Hawks nest.i also ask why is Gardner a top six, should be centering the third/ checking line, he dies nothing as far as bringing offense, but face offs and defense he is at his best.

Fair enough on the penalties and I agree on the systems holding players back. That’s is why a lot of us are calling for a change in coaching. We have seen this for 2 plus years and Berry doesn’t seem to want to change his process.

Blame the refs, puck luck whatever, when your pointing a finger there is three pointing back at you. Poor discipline , no fire and poor leadership from the head coach to the bus driver. When your assit. Capt. takes bone headed penalties and the coach just pats him on the back sends a message, no repercussions for your actions boys.

Which is nice, so we have that going for us.

Hope this ends soon, so difficult to follow this team this year.

Don’t know why people are thinking it will be any better next year with the coaching staff we have. They have neutered this team for two and 1/2 years.

This team could give a !@#$, take penalties, don’t give 100% and you may switch lines next week and your coach will tell everyone what a tight knit group we have.

Lets look at the bright side Berry will have lots of time to recruit when this season ends.

This team, absolutely no discipline , no scoring and no leadership from coaches or players.

On our power play why don’t we put two guys in front of the net and bomb away, if we can’t tick tack toe then back to the basics, put 26, 22 or 14 in front of the net.
