Well I have heard through rumor central that Lammy has looked good in practice the last year and if Jordy leaves that Phil is more than able to fill the bill. The word is that he needs to play every game and not be rotated.

I suppose the Badger fans are having fits with that one. I could see Elliot being signed this summer. Of course this is not what Badger faithful are saying.

Hey PCM being your a stats kind of guy. Where does Jordy sit on the all time list? I remember he was going to surpase like 4th or 5th place this past season but I can't remember the exact details. I do know he is up there in Winning percentage, shutouts and GAA.

That is not what I am getting, from the behind the scene people. I used to be skeptical when there was a post that stated that So and So is gone, and wanted a source, however, I have learned there are a few of these people that are pretty trustworthy and have an in. If these people are saying that Jordy is gone, I consider it to be pretty decent. Goon's world also has a Jordan Watch already.

I think a lot of us feel the same way. I wish we hadn't lost so many players this off season. I just hope that Lammy can now take the reins and put up the same kind of stellar numbers.

I remember the sweep when the Sioux played the Goofers in the REA and Vanek had been checked by Prpich the whole series and I do remember him banging his stick on the ice in frustration because Vanek was generating no offense at all. I also do remember him getting frustrated and taking stupid penatlies from time to time.

I didn't have any problem with the cupping the ear, the fans were giving him crap and PK just happened to give it back to them.

Gretzky is on record as really being high on Blake Wheeler and I can see why. Big, strong, and a good skater. So who knows.

Not being happy here is home sick, not happy, miss my girl friend, not happy. I am not sure how I can spell it out any more. Slovakia I am sure is a lot different that North Dakota. I know The East coast is different that living on the plains in North Dakota. I spent 26 months in Germany and then moved to Massachussetts (sp) its different. I have played sports if someone leaves a team you don't fold your tent and quit, nor will the UND players. Spirko loss while does cause a void doesn't mean someone can't step up or that two players step up. I think the biggest loss on the team is Zajac for his play at both ends and Smaby because of the intimidation factor that he had when he was on the ice, they were both role players that may be hard to fill.

I am just saying UND will be fine. I do have a clue because a buddy of mine studies with a player and this is what he told him.

Word around town is that Sparky didn't like it here. I am just saying if he doesn't want to be here so be it. As far as UND not having any experience as been the par for the course.

Leave it to TC_Transplant to look for the silver lining for the Goofs and tell us how bad UND is. Typical. As for Zajac, Smaby and Stafford, they took the money and ran, no one can blame them, I sure as heck never will. Heck, If someone told me that I could have a job and make 350,000 to 900,000 in the form of a signing bonus and make at least 75,000.00 a year the next season I could have some of that bitg money right now, I would be gone, no looking back no second thoughts. I wouldn't even bother to write a two week notice. There would be a vapor trail in my wake.

Actually if compare and contrast Toews and Kessel it would appear that Toews is quite a bit more polished and better spoken of the two players.
