Respectfully I must disagree with your logic DAR. First off your assuming now that since we will lose these players UND is going to be very good next season and the cupboard is bare. I think this is hardly the case, especially with this team. Even with what we will lose, we will be gaining some amazing players and having some amazing players returning I think UND is going to be just as strong and if not better. I think with what will be left will still be better than probably 97% of the teams.

They are going to lose their fair number of players too. They wont' go unscathed. That fact remains that UND is going to be better than Wisconsin next season.

Thats more official than some who claimes he has a great source and on a scale of 1-10 is a 8. The same soure claming Spirko is leaving town and going to play professional in Europe. I trust the news paper more.

Commodore came to the aid of a team mate and was given a thirdman in penatly, Mike was asked if he knew about the rule and he wasn't aware that you could get a third man in penatly if a major penalty wasn't called. The broadcast team was also not aware of this rule either, incidently Mike was given a game misconduct penatly and his night was over.

You know what I could care less about the hobey I would love to see th NCAA title return to North Dakota. Individual awards are great but I like team awards. The Broadmoor was a good start.

Speaking of UND players apparently Mike Commodore walks around the Carolina locker room in a robe and the team is going to sell it for charity. Also, to tie it in with the above comment, it was kind of nice seeing Zach, Mike and Hale playing on the same sheet of ice. The announcers made mention of the fact that They were from UND too.

Smaby is funny since he only has one more year here, he is a senior. I am sure Tampa would love to get Matt in the mix, he is a monster and would fit nice in TB plans. With their goaltending they might need some big monster d-man in front of their net. I would be willing to bet that Stafford is mulling over an offer or is talking to Buffalo in some manner, personally I can't understand why anyone in Drew position would want to go and sit in the AHL since their team is loaded with good young players.

So does anyone have clue what UND schedule is going to be next season? I can't find it any where as of yet.

I think I would have to agree with this observations. I think this team exceded expectations, they were a bubble team before the WCHA playoffs, and they answered the call. UND was a young team this year and took its lumps along the way and got better at the end of the season and made the Frozen Four, they also did get a few breaks along the way. I think realistically speaking getting to the Frozen Four was a nice surprise, for me any way. I think this team is built for the future, We had a couple of players Watkins and Kozek that are just starting to reach their potential. The Fighting Sioux also has a very young defense, that will get better. The possibilities for this team is scarey good. Look at Wisconsin they were a veteran team that gained experience with four years of Mike Eaves systems. Hak really can't be evaluated until he has had four years of his recruits. So far it looks pretty darn good and promising. Also, the last two years Eades has been an assistant the special teams have improved drastically as well as defensively under Brad Berry. While the sting of losing is in the minds of the fans imagine how the players probably feel, this experience the last two season should give them enough motivation to during the off season to be more focused next season. This season we had two players that still should have been High School seniors. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I can only imagine what some of these kids can do after a summer in the weight room. Yikes the opposition will come to know this team very well in the next couple of season.
