Not trying to rip on you but your logic, this isn't meant to be a personal attack, I am just trying to show you how flawed this line of thinking is, I am going to illustrate what I am talking about. Should we tell that to guys like Henry Boucher that lost an eye due to dirty stick work? Just part of the game. I think the logic that your using is that stick work is just part of the game, and the fans in the WCHA should just accept it and expect it. So the message we are sending them is; if you are upset just go ahead and swing your stick or spear someone, much better than fighting, its part of the game. In my own opinion; stick work is much more egregious and gutless than two guys fighting. Ussually after a fight most of the time the issue is settled when the fight ends. Gutless whacks with the stick are very Jeff Paukovich like. Gutless pukes like Pauko go out and whack someone with a stick ussually a more skilled smaller player and then go turtle behind the ref, when someone calls him on it. But don

Should we say this will be the revenge tour this weekend. Time to dish out some retribution from SCSU sweeping us in our own barn last season. Apparenlty Bobby hasn't been as sharp has he was last season, so far. I think it is time for the Sioux to light bobby up.

Walski will probably get to be here for another year, unless they steal a top goaltender recruit from Jr's. Lets not kid ourselves, Walksi is a practice goalie like Solei is for the Goofers. There is nothing wrong with that and he had a better seat for the game than the rest of us.

I don't think that right there is just as much violence in College hockey as there is in the pros. It all under the guise of, Oh we don't let them fight. In fact one could make the argument there is way more stick work which in my opinion is more serious and more classless than two guys duking it out. Right now as we speak, the NHL is a better product than college hockey and that has to nothing with fighting and more with play on the ice. Until the refs call the game the way they do college hockey is going to suffer.

I love ESPO too, he is on XM radio all the time and he gets worked up and then he ussually drops a swear word or two also, classic. Knows his hockey though.

That was well spoken the only thing I see wrong with that is guy like Punkovich will use this as an excuse to hurt another player some where down the line because he know he won't have to answer for his dirty classless hits.

I was being silly should have put a smiley face to it. It pretty obvious that were some great efforts all over the league (well except in Madison I was actually cheering for them because I can't stand HE or B.C.) and Minnesota ussually gets the props. Okposo is a good player, its going to be sad to watch him leave after this season next season when the NHL throws a bunch of money his way. I care because I like to see our program get notice and the props they deserve. I think Miller is a nice story because he isn't from the Northern Part of the country he is from Georgia, a non traditional hockey area. The fact that he has to score to stay in the line up, reminds me of Matt Henderson. I think he is going to surprise a lot of people this season. Even though we gave up a bunch of goals this weekend, I like scoring feasts. It proves that the Sioux have scoring punch, I am sure Hak will reign in the defense this week in practice but offense is catchy and a lot of guys got points this weekend. I don't come to the games or turn on the tubes to watch defense, I love watching scoring, more exciting. The boys have given us that in half the games they have played. I think it is a plus. They will be dialed in come tourney time.

I actually think that Brad Miller should be given offensive player of the week in the WCHA. But knowing the league they will probably give it to a goofer.

PCM, the NHL banks on it as part of the draw of the game. Fans for the most part like it so, its not going anywhere. The guy that got his face knocked in has no one to blame but his self. The Boggeyman is paid (like it or not) to fight, if someone cheaps Gabby, the boggeyman come-it. Goons are there to right wrongs.
