No-kidding, that surprised me. It was nice to see last night that Bobby Goepfert and Brian Elliot are in fact human.

I hour till game time. I hope the guys are fired up for this one? I would imagine they are? Last night the Fighting Sioux broke the 0-44 on wisconsin's penatly killing, tonight they can hopefully sweep the BADgers in their home rink, not a small task but very possible if they get to Elliot early and get his feet moving.

I believe it was a knee to thigh hit and after watching the replay of the hit, it didn't look like Porter did it intentionally. Porter isn't that type of player. Green blinders, I believe this is a Sioux page so most of us are going to see the world from a green and white perspective.

I made the comment last year that I was surprised they didn't change the time of the game so the Goofs would get the 700pm game then more people would have been able to watch the Goofs loose to the Badgers 4-0. Of course those games don't matter.

I believe that Genoway playing on forward last night is a testimate of his worth, the kid can fly. Chay is impressive.

I have to respectfully disagree with you, althought maybe not his best game of the year last night Genoway is great with the puck and I don't think Hak will take him out of the line up. I am not sure why you don't like Kozek with that line since he got an assit on Porters goal last night. I think that line will stay together they almost have to because of familiarity and that they are also getting the points. In three games not too bad. Kozek 0-3-3 points Watkins 1-1-2 points Porter 1-1-2 points In comparison: Oshie 1-3-4 points Toews 3-2-5 points Duncan 2-2-4 ponts I think its early in the season and we shouldn't get too restless. (oh My god the Gophers finally scored a touch down.)

Really oops., Dagies is right, Don can't have it both ways. If his players are going to do these types of bush league tactics it the Goofers better be ready to eat some of what they have dished out. So if Lucia is going to use these types of said tricks like running over opposing goalies, people are going to run over Briggs. Ooh, I hope if UM tries these tactics against the Sioux Hak I am betting we would see one of our players run over Briggs. That being said we better not hear Lucia crying in his local rag about how teams aren't respecting their goalie.

Apparently Lucia is happy after having so many of the pretty boy type defensemen now he has a few that will do the dirty work, unfornuately if they try that type of goonery with the Sioux they are going to get thumped. They better practice against the lesser teams first.

So in the whole my class is better than your class recruiting wars, does these recent signing (with Malone and Hextal) shore things up a bit and give UND more strength. It seems to me you can never have enough scrappy gritty forwards that like to score Dirty Goals. I think some of these recruiting class wars look more like a beauty contests and lack the types of role players that win championships. Like I heard on XM 204 today you can put a bunch of great players together but doesn't mean your going to be a great team, the teams that win are the teams the play together the best.
