    Let's get this going.

I know CC is playing well, and I know they played us well at home, but I don't care. I truly believe we are better and we should win.

I think we break out a little bit, here. Our boys need to be and should be playing loose. The pressure is more so on the Tigers. Play fast and win.

    UND wins 4-1

    Blake, OMac, Gaber, Jammer

I am going to hold you to that prediction: let's lock it in. @stoneySIOUX

They cannot do this AND keep it a secret. It's going to come out.

Not in this town. That would've come out already.

Let's remember that our team had an illness running through the locker room last time and hadn't had a week off since the season started. We are healthier now and just had a week off. We'll see if those things make a difference this time.

There were also a few guys that were banged up. Coach Berry mentioned it in the post-game following Saturday’s OT loss. If I recall correctly, Gaber looked like he was battling something too. Good point. It's not an excuse; it's just a point of order.

Pinto also led Ottawa forwards in ice time.  Sanderson out hurt.

There is still no timetable for Sanderson’s return from an unspecified lower body ailment. While it’s not considered serious enough to place him on long-term injury reserve, he must resume skating before he can even think of suiting up in another game.

Interim head coach Jacques Martin told reporters before the game against the Leafs that Sanderson was doing off-ice workouts, was making progress and was hopeful he’d resume skating this week.

“We’re happy with how he’s progressing, but we’ll have better idea (on his return) as the next week develops,” Martin said. “We’re not sure at this time when he’ll be back on the ice, but I would expect that will be sometime this week.” (link)

  5. This tweet is comedy gold. ASU’s strength of schedule is 100.3. They’re not going to overhaul the Pairwise for the sake of the Independents. At least, I haven’t heard anything or read anything that suggests that. If they have, it’s news to me.

Thinking of the upcoming series at CC and think we are going to need to bring our best.  CC is playing well and is on the wrong side of the bubble.  This weekend should be a playoff style of game and I'm eager to see how the boys come out of the bye week.

Have to admit I miss Johannes in the lineup, even though everyone who has stepped in has played well.  I feel he is a heart-and-soul type of player for this team.

I think when he's playing disciplined hockey, he's very affective and creates space for his linemates.

    Nice post.

When I attended UND it was the opposite, at least the classes I was in.  I will say that Jake Brandt for the celebrity that he was was always at class, and seemed to do well.

He's awesome. He's absolutely hilarious, too. He's actually a State Farm Agent, too. Jake from State Farm. :)

  8. I just purchased Midco Sports Plus yesterday. My God! What a game. My daughter and I were impressed with the team, and I am sure the neighbors could hear cheering when UND won the game. I think this program is turning the corner and headed in the right direction.

Still feels like yesterday someone on here cryptically posted @NHLFlyers, said we will understand soon, and out of nowhere Hak went to the Philly. When in fact it was almost a decade ago now.

Yep, this is the ninth season of Berry's reign.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this yet.  Tim & Darren were commenting during the 1st intermission that ice conditions were not very good. Said something like "it will be less bad to start the 2nd".  That aside, there were a lot of sloppy passes and dumb turnovers.

I was wondering about that, because there were some bad bounces and guys leaving the puck as if it was sticking to the ice. It also looked like the puck was bouncing. I know it's warmer in Ohio, than here. A couple of guys bit it and there was no one around them.
