This next year will be Berry's test as he is most definitely on the hot seat. With a pretty good class of recruits and returning players, they should have a good run into the NCAA tournament. Any scenario that has the Sioux missing the playoffs or losing in the 1st round, I just can't see him coming back.
Berry isn't on the hot seat. I would put money on it.

If your expectation is natty or bust you’re in for more pain than joy no matter who your team is.
According to some that’s the standard.

Hastings isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. He isn’t going to put up with lack of effort and not playing both ends of the ice. I have a feeling, he is fine with some leaving so he can get everyone to buy into his system.
Not quite sure it will be easy to completely change his recruiting philosophy from Minnesota State, and might be difficult to get younger high-end guys to buy into his defensive system. Wonder if Logan Hensler would reconsider his commitment with all the turnover, but he might have already signed. Here's an idea, maybe it's the players and not the coaches. These young players don't get to dictate in the big time, wether it be in college or in the NHL. I have no problem with Hastings saying this is the type of player I want on my team. Nobody is bigger than team.

The last month has been a total disaster for this team. Denver is in the Frozen Four and we are still searching for answers. That is what is causing my sour mood. So forgive me if I'm not giddy as a schoolgirl right now.
I am going to drop this here. There's a message here. This kind of applies to our program, too.
It sucks that UND lost, but it's not the end of the world. Next year's team is going to be very good and will again be in the mix.
Someone asked me if this year's team might have overachieved or exceeded expectations. It might be possible.

Oh for Christ's sake. Your comment is without merit. UND’s recruiting class is ranked second next season. Besides, where was said recruit going to fit?

A BC player just flopped trying to draw a penalty.

STFU Buccigross! Sick of him already.
Buchy and Choen are slobbering all over BC. They might as well get them pompoms.

I am surprised they kicked him out.

That's a chicken wing elbow, he needs to be gone. Five and a game.

Why does the audio sound like there's a single engine prop plane idling just off screen?
I can't hear it over all of the slobbering that the two ESPN personalities are doing over BC.

My phone is a little late, it's always like that on DirecTV Stream.

Tech was playing a perfect defensive game.

I remember @siouxforeverbaby saying last Friday, that the top seed hardly ever wins it all.

Draft picks, MTU 1 and BC 14.

C'mon now, its a simple formula .... recruit grindaz (you want the right players, not the best ones), bag skate the team, threaten to replace a guy and flip an equipment table in the locker room. You'll motivate them to win a championship or maybe even the Olympics!
That might have worked in my days, it isn't going to work today.

Yeah, ZERO coaches do that now. None. Zero. Zilch. Mike Babcock is on line two for you.
I agree with @stoneySIOUX. You can't scream and yell at today's college athletes. They'll just leave and go somewhere else. You yell at them and they tune you out.

Where's @Goon or Schloss to dig deep into this?
Your guess is as good as mine. He missed the first two days of practice this week. “His situation,” Berry said.

Very cool experience for you, Goon. Even 10 minutes a game in the NHL is still a hockey player's dream. And it will likely change. Let us know if you think a bunch of us from ss.com should pay Torts a visit.
Yeah, it's been fun to see him play, my daughter and I watch quite a few of his games. I am by no means a Flyers fan, either. We had a blast in January. I found out after the fact they stayed in the same hotel as we did.
