Its the way other teams have played the Sioux, they have wrongfully assumed that UND is a one line team and they have loaded up on the top Duncan and Oshie and whoever__________line. If you watch closely how other teams play this line, the boys have been hooked slashed and held up and down the ice. it is brutal. Here is an interesting stat JT for Chicago has played in 36 games scored 15 goals 17 assists for 32 pts. For the Sioux last season he played in 34 gams scored 18 goals 28 assits and scored 46 points. Are we to believe that the WCHA is on par with the NHL. I wouldn't think so, I would be willing to bet it is the way the games are called by the officials.

I guess it depends who you talks to. I believe he is a decent coach that gets the most out of his teams.

UBC is going to come in and want to play in the WCHA, why wouldn't they? Also, the Canadian's if they get accepted to Division one hockey will have to have the same rules as the US schools. I could see schools like Minnesota really pitching a fit in this situation.

Offensively LaPoint is our best defenseman IMHO. Dynamic and a game breaker are words that I would use.

Miami has to go to Alaska which beat them already this season. I almost hope Michigan would sweep Miami when they play.

I am sick and tired of watching our skilled players getting hacked, smacked and punched as the refs just sit there watching it. I hope this April that the team coachs start to address this kind of stuff. If there wasn't a game disqualification for fighting in college hockey this stuff would start to go away. Kaip stepped up and took care of business last night.
