It is night time most people sleep.

I think the biggest problem is they put two bars at the ends of the arena and there seems to be way too many people socializing and not watching the game. People texting on cell phones and talking about other stuff but hockey. Also, the new ralph is a nice arena but I don't think they have maximized a way to make it louder. I sure as heck don't want to go back to the old ralph not after experiencing the new...

I have seen nor read no HARD evidence of these horrible things that are supposed to be happening on campus and here in Grand Forks (police reports, examples or specific incidents), all I have seen is the stuff from the 1990's, many people have we have asked for specific examples, NO ONE can give us one except the tasteless stuff from the 1990's. I am not saying there isn't racist thought or actions in the world they exist everywhere, however, this is not a result of a sport team moniker or logo, its a mind set. Does it happen in Grand Forks, ND yep but it also happens in Mpls, Fargo, Detroit every where.

That is the way that hockey should be played. The Western Division games are boring. They should just call it the Trap Feast league.

I know a lot of people with PHD that shouldn't be allowed to teach. Most of the stuff that comes out of their mouths isn't back up with imperical evidence.

And your qualifications for evaluating talent are? I think I am going to trust the Sioux coaches on this one. This guy was a very sought after recruit in both the QMJHL and in College.

You said we could learn a lot from your previous school in Montana, I interpreted that as a slamb against UND. Again, enough with the spin lets hear your examples so we can learn about your experience at UND. Maybe the Univesity can learn from your experience at UND. I keep hearing how bad of a place UND is, and how it full of bunch of racists and how hostile UND is. Would someone please state some facts, not spin, not acedontal evidence.

I am hearing the same thing, YET, there are no police reports or any news in the Grand Forks Herald. No one can give us specifics. Some how all of this is blamed on a sport team moniker. This will all go away when the name is changed? I am waiting for these examples but all we get is spin.

Wrong again, I am not going to call you a liar but I am waiting for you to stop tap dancing and give some examples of racism or incidents that you have experieced here at UND, maybe it would help the future students that come to study at UND. Finally, I never said there wasn't prejudice at UND. I still don't understand why if UND is such a horrible place why does UND have such a high Native American student numbers. The name has nothing to do with racism long after the Fighting Sioux name is gone there will still be racist people at UND and in the world.

This is the same guy that said he wished he would have done more acts of Terrorism. Sounds like a great guy...

I am going with Sioux-Cia here. You come on this messge board you throw around a bunch of accusations but put forth no incidents to back up your claims only that you faced racism while your were at UND. I am interested and I am sure many others are as well what was your experience here at UND. In your opinion; why is UND such a horrible place? IF UND such a horrible place why do we have one of the top Native American programs in the COUNTRY. Please tell us about incidents you talk about so we can see UND/Grand Forks from your perpsective.

The problem is that you want to goal announced right away, that I think makes Looker even better than Scott was. The NHL buildings do it too.
