Laperriere is one of the biggest hacks in the league, he runs around taking runs at the Wild's skilled players and when one of the tough guys challenge him he turtles or runs away. I don't know if you remember the discussion but last summer KO want to go to the pros and the Islanders told him he could go to the Major Juniors or back to the Gophers. When he signed with the Islanders after Snow deciding they would sign him didn't surprise me. Even Gophers blow hard Lou Nanne was surprised that Kyle didn't sign. I have read a few places that he really wanted to sign and was going to last summer as well.

We knew that was the case this fall. Like I mention earlier I talked to a friend of his at the Final Five that said he talked to Chorney and he is not coming back to UND next season. We move on. Wish him well... No one should be shocked by this. I am not thrilled with it but that is life in the WCHA.
