Again, enough with the spin lets hear your examples so we can learn about your experience at UND. Maybe the Univesity can learn from your experience at UND. I keep hearing how bad of a place UND is, and how it full of bunch of racists and how hostile UND is. Would someone please state some facts, not spin, not acedontal evidence.

I am hearing the same thing, YET, there are no police reports or any news in the Grand Forks Herald. No one can give us specifics. Some how all of this is blamed on a sport team moniker. This will all go away when the name is changed? I am waiting for these examples but all we get is spin.

Wrong again, I am not going to call you a liar but I am waiting for you to stop tap dancing and give some examples of racism or incidents that you have experieced here at UND, maybe it would help the future students that come to study at UND. Finally, I never said there wasn't prejudice at UND. I still don't understand why if UND is such a horrible place why does UND have such a high Native American student numbers. The name has nothing to do with racism long after the Fighting Sioux name is gone there will still be racist people at UND and in the world.

You come on this messge board you throw around a bunch of accusations but put forth no incidents to back up your claims only that you faced racism while your were at UND. I am interested and I am sure many others are as well what was your experience here at UND. In your opinion; why is UND such a horrible place? IF UND such a horrible place why do we have one of the top Native American programs in the COUNTRY. Please tell us about incidents you talk about so we can see UND/Grand Forks from your perpsective.

Really then you have no idea what a goon is do you. It is a hockey player that is know for their propensity to get into fights and is the teams enforcer that protects the skilled players. Goons are not known for scoring a lot of goals it has nothing to do with Goon squad. My friends gave me the name when we played hockey in intramurals because I wasn't the best hockey player on the team and I sat in the penatly box a good deal of time. Instead of tap dancing why don't you bring some of this stuff to the fore front instead of making accusations against people you have never met or have any idea who you are talking to or their back ground. So then why is RHHT not letting it come to a vote? It would appear that he isn't letting them vote. I think a vote would be the best way to solve this.

Only if one team is from Canada and one team is from the USA. If both teams are from Canada then only Canadian etc.

Iggy and Lecavalier will fight from time to time, I rmember watching a playoff game where Lecavalier fought Chara and the announcer basically said that crazy.
