Well apparently there was a vote at the annual coaches meetings about keeping the Gentleman's agreement or not and apparently Minnesota has been a vocal opponent to keeping it. I guess for some reason Lucia doesn't think other teams would be able to take recruits from him. Like Hak said during a radio show that teams don't want to go there. I think it is a good thing to keep it in place.

Yeah good point. There is so much un-uniformity in the NCAA. They have not treated all schools involved equally and there has been a heavy handed approach to UND.

If we didn't have a gentleman's agreement Hak could probably sway him towards the Sioux.

I am pretty sure I didn't say too much about his two incidents. In fact in my opinion they are minor and worthy of little discussion.

What you're saying is that unless the name is changed there is no reason for any more talking. Basically it isn't a dialog but you lecturing us and telling us how bad of people we are. All the people that I know would never commit one of these things/incidents that you say happened to you... Finally, not every look, comment, incident, perceived action or act directed your way is a reflection of the Fighting Sioux name or the Logo. Some of this stuff is just people being stupid. These things will be here long after the Fighting Sioux name is gone and dead. I personally wonder what the ANTI-name people are going to blame this on after the name is gone? I know a guy who is has two daughters of NA decent (who are standing rock Sioux) and he is more worried of what is going to happened when the name is changed. This guy thinks his daughters might face a hostility because of the name changing.

I thought last nights game was a pretty good hockey. Anytime you get to watch the Habs lose is a bonus in my opinion.
